A young Dallas-based FBI agent follows the trail of a serial killer, only to learn that the perpetrator is a former FBI agent who is killing serial killers in his life-long search for the mysterious and elusive "suspect zero", who may have claimed hundreds of victims, or may not even exist. But when they learn that the former agent's next target is out to kidnap a young girl, they have to team up and race against time to stop it.
