Useless app
Every time I try to connect my charge 5 it asks me to reconnect the product, after I do it tells me the same thing on and on. Might as well not have an app if it’s so inconsistent

Seamless Experience with JBL Portable app
The JBL app has been a fantastic companion to my JBL device, delivering a smooth and intuitive user experience from the start. Setup was quick and effortless, and the app made pairing my speaker feel almost automatic. One of the features I’ve come to appreciate most is the customizable equalizer — it really allows me to fine-tune the sound to match my preferences, whether I’m listening to music, watching movies, or just using the speaker for background ambiance.
I also love how easy it is to update firmware directly through the app, keeping everything up to date without needing to connect to a computer. The PartyBoost function works great and makes linking multiple speakers feel seamless, which is perfect for gatherings or larger spaces.
The design is clean, navigation is straightforward, and I haven’t encountered any major bugs or crashes. It just works — and that reliability makes a big difference. For anyone using JBL products, the app adds real value and elevates the overall experience. Five stars without hesitation.

Don’t remove existing features.
There’s an option to swap speakers left/right channels once it’s paid as stereo group. Noticed this was removed when i do the setup for Flip 7, now if I setup the left/right channels wrongly, there’s no way to swap it from the app. Please add this option back.

The software is unable to connect to multiple device.
It should have more equalizer option.
The app should be able to turn on and off party boost.
There should be warning indicator when battery reaching low status ex 10% or less
No notification that battery needs to be charged.

App not able to discover Charge 5.
App is lacking, it is not able to discover my Charge 5 via Bluetooth. This is despite the fact that my iPad had already connected to my Charge 5, via Bluetooth and is playing music.
The problem happened quite frequently. Thus, this app is as good as useless.

I am very disappointed in the app as I thought that JBL is top of the market with their customer service and etc. But the app has so much problems as you can see with everyone’s review. Please try to fix it. Else you are losing out to UE as i heard that their apps are easy to use.

Need a good app with good features
Recently bought Xtreme very impressed with sound quality but was really depressed with connect app feature can only work with two speakers no control available to adjust bass or volume. Feature Rich app is must to make it a huge success
