Dark theme display option
Please have that option on, the rest of MediaCorp apps like CNA and Today all have that option. It more comfortable reading in not so bright environment or dim lights in bedroom.

Device is Jail broken

Hyperlink in the news was opened from the browser instead opened from the app itself.

Notification not working

After update last week can’t find the tv news programs n news that I want to see. 八点新闻，狮城有约，etc can’t find n all it shows is asking me to sign up with an account n loads of adverts. The app is generally ugly. Strange color combination. The layout of widgets is just random and poorly implemented. Drag delay is huge and no preload at all. Very bad app.

Main article text is too small on iPad.
Purchased an ipad 9.7 (new 2017) for the senior at home so that he could read/view the channel 8 news as an iPad/ tablet has a larger screen than on a mobile phone. Installed the ch8 app 2.6.6 version on the iPad (ios 11. above). To our great dismay, the main article text size is too small despite we have changed the app setting text font size from small to big. The changes of the text size in the ch8 app settings installed on iPad only enlarges the title of the article, the text size changes has no impact on the main body of the news article.
This problem does not affect mobile phone though.
Please kindly fix this issue of the main body article text size not applying the changes that user set on the ch8 app settings on user’s iPad. If Mediacorp developer is unable to supply an app that will work on both mobile phone and iPad, then please consider to create another ch8 app for iPad just like the 联合早报(zaobao) app where their developer develop a separate app version specifically for iPad.
The iPad bought for the senior has now become meaningless if he cannot read/view News from Mediacorp.

Update 18 April 2018
The long awaited updates was just as disappointing. Just upgraded to the new version from 2.6.6 to 2.6.7 version on IPad and yet there is still no change to the text size setting bug when one select from small to big text on the main article. What’s the point when the text setting only change the title and not the main text article text size. The main text size still remain so small to read. Now my dad can only use safari browser to read Mediacorp Channel 8 news because the iPad safari browser allow him to use finger to enlarge the text of the main article.
Had send multiple email to the ch8news email and even provided pictures to describe the problem, but yet there is no one replying or acknowledge receipt of the feedback.
Very disappointed with Mediacorp channel 8 apps and their developer.

Another updates to the latest 2.6.8 version but yet again Mediacorp’s developer does not fix the text size change bug on the main text article. The text on the overall body of main article remains very small despite changing the text size from small to big at the setting. Only the title of the news is enlarge! Who only reads the title?
Those using iPad don’t waste your time to install this app, it’s better to use safari browser to view channel 8 news than the apps. You have the flexibility to enlarge the text with your fingers to make the news article more viewable.

the radio 95.8 audio is off, unable to play in the background
launching this app,instend to listen to the radio 95.8 embedded. However the audio dies off when try to launch other apps, and the audio of radio 95.8 cannot be played in the background.
defeats the purpose to listen to the news using this apps. it should have the ability to continous to play the audio of fm95.8 even we switch to another apps or close the visual of this app.
