Worst. Lost faith in all Bose apps
Worst ever app I ever came across. Literally have issues every time I try to use. Both the app and the Bose SoundTouch speakers are crap products.

Doesn’t work
I cant connect the app to the speaker. ASUS router app detects the speaker but this app cannot find it. What gives? Can you fix this bose?

Sound control can get erratic

Unreliable
I changed from a Sonos to a Bose system, and comparing the reliability of the two for wifi playback, the SoundTouch is dreadful. Connection is patchy - it works some days and is completely unresponsive some days. I’ve had to resort to plugging in the aux cable into my iPad.

Radio not working after update!
Not expecting Bose to rollout updates without verifying whether it works. Ever since the latest update, my SoundTouch 10 just does not play radio; instead gives an error message “There was a problem checking for the update”

Problems with wifi
On the whole the sound quality is nice. However I’ve had a few problems with reestablishing wifi connection and finding my speaker. At least once a week I have to reconfigure and reconnect the speaker to my home wifi which can be a bit frustrating especially when you are all ready to listen to some music.

Lousy experience with the apps. Remark shown is “something happened and couldn’t add sound touch to account.” When I try to add the third speaker. Time to update your apps.

Worst app ever
This the worst app I have use..whenever I start the app it says need to update. Once pressed update it take forever to complete. Could not manage to use the app to do anything at all. Such a lousy app from a renowned audio device manufacturer.

Unable to play tracks from iTunes library
Hi,
I was able to play songs from my computer’s iTunes library in previous versions. However this is not possible now.
I can still see my iTunes library within my app (songs, playlists etc), but when I click on the song, the app cycles thru a few songs for the next 3 seconds (without playing any audio), then comes back to the main soundtouch screen (nothing plays).
Am I doing something wrong?

Latest update kind of Crippled my SoundTouch Wave unit.
After this update , I can’t even use TuneIn to listen to listen to the radio stations at all. Please fix it!

Internet radio support has been discontinued!!!!
Why discontinue support for internet radio? That’s the reason I bought that SoundTouch! The stations I was listening for years are not available with TuneIn and after that update I suddenly cannot listen to them anymore! Are you kidding? Bring back internet radio!!!

Problem Pairing with QC35 headphone
It’s easy to do pairing with most devices but disappointed to notice my newly purchased headphone QC35 is unable to pair using the Bluetooth.

Bose never disappoints!!!
There Is a saying - what you pay is what you get!! It fits Bose perfectly and for this sound bar too. Critics will say that Bose never mentioned the RMS for this sound bar. Does it matter when you can hear the vocals crystal clear at the lowest volume one can go.... sorry I don’t live in a cemetery.....
The only thing I would like to say that Bose should work with Apple, Amazon, Gaana and bring them onboard so the users have more choices available!!!

Good App but improvements needed
Happy with the app but I give Bose 3/5 stars because I expect more. Specifically, there are three areas that I expect improvement - in order of preference:
1. Fast Forward of tracks. Unacceptable that after so many user requests in forums, Bose has not updated the app to include this.
2. Lagging. The app is lagging some milliseconds but it is felt by the user. This happens both when I change a track and when I increase/decrease the volume. There is no issue wrt my internet speed as I have 1GBPS connection so bose should speed up the response time of the app.
3. Integration with Apple Music. Bose should have a full integration with Apple Music as they have with Spotify. The current setup of accessing the iTunes Library via the iMac app is not helpful. When I go to my ‘recently added’ playlist for example I do not see the recently added tracks.
I am a huge Bose fun/supporter but I also have high expectations with all bose products (both hardware and software). I will revisit my rating as soon as Bose addresses the above.

Multi room Spotify is full of glitches
Playing Spotify across multiple bose sound touches using the app has a reoccurring problem / glitch.
volume constantly increases or decreases depending on the direction that you are changing (up or down) and does not stay at a particular level.

Great sound system but the app is horrible
Convenient to control via iPhone, iPad or comp! If it works properly as in the basic features.
And access to preset always hang whenever I first open the app. And the volume ridiculously turn to extreme loudness that scare my guest!
The new app is better.
Can you add a feature to shutdown speaker with a timer to count down for like 15mins or a certain setting?

Not able to load music track
I was not able to load my music track in Spotify after the update. Very frustrating, only able to access internet radios. Cannot work despite numerous attempts removing and reinstalling application. Was working fine earlier before updates. Sigh!

I have Bose wave with wifi and Bluetooth set, I set bass to reduce mode will have better treble or high pitch sound. TOP of this bass also not booming like over humming hit the can. Good sound and easy to locate due small size

Brilliant. Superb. Easy to use.
What amazes me the most is even at low volumes, the quality of the sound so crisp, define & clear. Every drum beat, saxophone & cymbals clanging can be heard at high quality at any volume. Best system I've ever bought so far.
