Usage for Claude is the iOS companion app for monitoring your Claude AI usage. See what you’ve used, spot trends over time, and stay aware of your limits, with data synced from your Mac through iCloud.
Note: This iOS app requires the companion Mac app “Usage for Claude” to collect and sync usage data. It displays usage information synced from your Mac. It does not track Claude usage directly on your iPhone or iPad.

Get insights such as averages, peaks, and recurring patterns. Use this information to adjust your workflow and better manage how you allocate your Claude usage.
Automatic iCloud syncing across your devices
Your history syncs seamlessly via iCloud. Open the app on any iOS device signed into the same iCloud account to view your latest data from your Mac.
Instant updates when you need them
Pull to refresh to trigger an immediate sync from your Mac app, so the numbers you see are always up to date.
How it works
1. Install “Usage for Claude” on your Mac
2. Sign in to Claude inside the Mac app to begin tracking
3. Usage data syncs automatically to iCloud
4. Open this iOS app to view your history anywhere
Privacy
Your usage data stays private. Sync runs only through your personal iCloud account. We do not access your Claude conversations or personal data. Anonymous, privacy-focused analytics help improve the app.

Apple Watch Companion
Install the new watchOS app to see your Claude usage on your wrist. Usage syncs automatically through iCloud, and you can add complications to every watch face.
Threshold Notifications
Stay on top of your limits with alerts when your session, weekly, or Opus usage crosses the thresholds you set. You can also get notified when limits reset. All notification behavior is controlled in the new Notifications settings tab.
Widgets Everywhere
Check usage at a glance from anywhere:
New iOS lock screen widgets and Apple Watch complications join the existing Mac desktop and iOS home screen widgets, so you can monitor progress without opening the app.
Local API for Claude Code
Connect real-time usage to your own AI agents and dashboards using a local HTTP endpoint. The update also includes a bundled skill markdown, so you can start integrating faster.
Redesigned Dashboard
Track activity with clearer visuals and more control:
A new Current Session chart, a Session History bar chart with filters, refreshed Insights cards, and a resizable window with adjustable font size.
New Settings Experience
Enjoy a cleaner, more native preferences experience with separate panes for General, Appearance, Notifications, and Sync. You can also hide your account email and choose to show your remaining percentage in the menu bar.
We also refreshed the help center with updates in 15 languages, redesigned the macOS feedback form, and included dozens of polish fixes.
