I think the App isn’t working anymore. Could not load the App for almost 4 months. Whenever I open the app, it crashes immediately. I’m not sure what happened, been waiting for updates hoping it would solve the problem. Really hope to getting back on the App again! Thank you.

Always like reading the Daily Bread on a daily basis. It’s a refreshing change in the layout and look in the latest app update. The Insight section was a good add-on. Keep up the good work of God.

Can’t download any readings (edit)

Edit: This is resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Since the recent update, no readings can be loaded/ downloaded, so no more daily devotional reading can be done. Ps fix it

I do not like this new updated ODB app :(

Previously when I use the app, I could open the Bible passage and read along but now it's not possible, the moment you tap on the Bible passage you are redirected to a different bible app and the reading stops!

Also when listening to the app, I have to keep the the phone on all the time, the moment the phone is off after 20seconds, the reading also stops.

Please give me back the old app version where I could read the Bible passage and also not get cut off when the phone is off.

Nice design but....

Don't get me wrong, I do like he design of the new version, but I don't like how the audio function works now.

I used to be able to press play, lock my phone screen, put my phone into my pocket and listen on the go. Now when I lock my phone the audio stops. When I leave it on but the screen auto locks after a minute or two, the audio stops.

If I click on a button (eg Journal), audio continues. But if I click back, audio stops and needs to be played from the start again. And the cycle function to scroll through the audio isn't exactly easy to use as well.

Hopefully something can be done about this.. Thank you.

The app that keeps me going everyday!

I depend on this app everyday to read and be reminded of our Lord God and to get through different trials in life. Highly recommended! It'll be good if there were sharing to whatsapp and Evernote apart from the usual email, fb and Twitter. I feel that's the best way to share the Gospel with one another. Hopefully this can implemented for future iterations :)

Fonts setting and audio playing

I'm using iphone 4S and 4G. Recently did an upgrade to current version but found out that I wasn't able to set the font size and to play the audio narration.

Am very happy with the app as it accompanies me in my daily quiet time. I've also 'gift the app' to many friends and will keep doing this to spread the word. Little buggy here and there at times but doesn't bother me. Great job in bringing this to our convenience ;)

For those whose devotions are seemingly unable to load, please press the refresh button located at the lower left bar. You'll have to do this manually each time, until The Daily Bread improves the app.

Finally, I can read Daily Bread AND the Bible on an iDevice! You guys deserve the money for sending me those wonderful Daily Breads free all these years!

Downloaded this app a few months ago and o date, am only able to download June and july's devotional. Inspire of feedback, nothing apparently has been done for the past 2.5 months. Felt cheated. Good app

For years now, I have lamented about having to carry my heavy bible and the quarterly ODB with me on my frequent travels. I can finally say goodbye to that now. It's lightweight travelling for me these days with both the bible and ODB apps on the iPhone.

Pls fix the bug where the app automatically closes when one tries to change the font size through the settings icon on the top right hand corner.
