Most paranoid ecommerce app I ever used- ridiculous security measures

Most paranoid ecommerce app I have ever seen. More than half the time 2-FA measures such as sms/ email otp dosent work. You have to spam multiple time before it works. Not to mention even if it works, sometimes you have to verify all 3-password, email otp and phone otp. Taobao is also severly lacking in secure and convinent stand methods such as Passkey. Moreover, the most unpleaseant part is if you're switch between looking at listings on your phone and pc (phone use for app exclusive discounts, pc use because the mobile ui is so garbage its hard to read listings) the app will keep accusing you of unauthorised use and time you out. Very unpleasant

3. App 已更新至最新版本。

4. 在“国家/地区、语言、货币”设置中，点击“语言”后，只显示“中文”一个选项。

5. 没有出现 English 选项可供选择。

BEWARE: Refuses refund when goods were not delivered!

Customer support is unreliable and poorly trained. They refused to refund me for goods I paid for but didn’t receive because i signed for a consolidated parcel that had other items. Be careful. Shipping returns terms are dubious

The shipping return apparently doesn’t cover anything due to the mistake of the seller. That means u can’t use free return to get your refunds. The seller also can refuse to process your refunds without returning goods so it can stay in a limbo forever until u give up.

Some seller will ask u to send it back on your own and they will pay u back the shipping - don’t ever do that because they will not pay u back.

Also recently they updated the app into all Chinese. All the past chat with sellers became invalid.

Better to stick with Lazada and Shopee

Worst Customer Service Ever Seen

Very disappointed with my experience.

The seller entered the wrong shipping address, and I was asked to pay extra shipping fees to receive my remaining items. This mistake was not mine, yet I am expected to bear the cost.

I have already received and used about 90% of the order, so a refund is not a practical solution. I specifically made these purchases to qualify for promotional freebies, so refunding defeats the purpose entirely.

Customer support only suggested a refund and then closed the chat without giving me a chance to respond. This is unacceptable.

As a long-time user who has spent a significant amount on this platform and even holds VIP status, this is extremely frustrating.

I hope Taobao improves its customer support and takes proper responsibility for seller mistakes, instead of asking customers to bear the consequences.

Request for refund denied for damaged goods due to bad and irresponsible delivery agent.

I will like to make a complain. The product I bought and paid in full was delivered damaged. Immediately return pick up was arranged. The damaged goods was returned. This was done and I didn’t have to pay for return.

Somehow, another department sent a parts replacement without informing me and I was left with nothing but only a stupid parts.

I requested for either a full refund or return of product. The refund was acknowledged and replied. That was in 12 March 2026. Attached acknowledgement reply from Customer Service.

Till today, I have not heard from anyone with a positive reply or received my refund.

If I do not get a favorable reply by today before 5pm Singapore time, I will make sure a review is posted on all social media.

Very bad experience with Delivery Service & Customer Care

I ordered two items on 21 Sep, one is dianosor outfit for my little girl and the other one is Dianosor hat for her father. The expected delivery date is on Monday 30 Sep which delivery is uncessful and they explained the reason is I did not provide unit number.

Fine, it’s my fault so I contacted customer service , provided my full address and requested to expedite my delivery. As usual, it takes 48hrs to get back to me.

On 02 Oct, one person contacted me via WhatsApp saying he will deliver my items at one place. I quickly told that person it’s not my house. Then he said it’s wrongly assigned to deliver 🙄

Today I contacted customer service and asked what’s happening. Very awesome service, operator said they will report this issue to another department and asked me wait AGAIN another 48 hrs just to get back to me.

This goodies are for Children day celebration on 03 Nov and it’s already over. I quickly ordered one more from another website to cover it.

There is no solution and the same problem is going round & round. What they do is apologising again and again. Typing I’m sorry is very easy but nothing is solved for customer side.

Pls bring back followed stores new product listing page!!!

Big mistake replacing followed stores new product listing page with the current discovery page that shows you content you’re not interested in, and sellers live video page which means no more page that shows new products from followed sellers in chronological order like before. First of all, not all sellers do live videos, and not all customers like noisy videos when when they shop! You have to bypass these annoying videos and take a few taps to get into a store to view their product listings. That’s too much time and effort checking out one store. What’s the point of following stores when you can’t see their new listings anymore? To make it even more hopeless when I go to followed stores page there’s no updated new listings page either. Taobao seems to like forcing content and products down customers throat through their own algorithms to serve high spending advertisers, but not really keen on serving customers with content they really want to see and counting on impulse buys. 第一，我确实是中国人，第二，我使用淘宝大约16年。第三，我为什么这么生气是因为对淘宝很失望。我最近买了一个健身器材，用淘宝官方海运集运到新加坡。结果器材本身就有明显瑕疵，一看就是在中国不可能发货的残次品。但是大家要小心了，如果你用官方集运卖家会知道你要寄往国外他就会觉得你反正也没法退换，也难以维权，收到了也只能自认倒霉。不出所料，我去找卖家讲道理，他们一开始就很熟练地推卸责任到物流，然后给他们看器械上明显的伤痕，他们就不解释，让我退货，不负责海外部分运费。我就想问这种情况下谁会出国外运费给他退回集运仓？然后我多方寻找好不容易找到海外淘宝客服维权，客服倒是介入了，一上来让我提供开箱视频？我淘宝了16年第一次听说要这个，你们也没有任何风险提示要录制视频啊。然后我说可以，好在我还真的有视频，但是同等卖家要提供装箱视频。然后客服百般维护卖家，说一定要买家先提供开箱视频。看到了吧，不要在淘宝上面买东西，能在国外买的就在国外买，买不起的就不要用了，贪便宜最后伤的是自己。什么物美价廉不存在的，你付钱少了质量肯定就差。而且我记得多年前找过淘宝客服，那时候他们还是维护消费者的，现在明显就是个收天猫平台费的保护伞。支持国家打压淘宝这种忘了初心的混账企业。

太花俏了

以前比较容易看清楚有货没货、现在没有货的只用虚线勾出来，费眼睛还耽误时间。尤其在抢货的时候，真的耽误事儿。购物车🛒页面显示也是，不能直接按加减号增加，要等加减号先出来，再按，再等待刷新，再按一下，再刷新，真的是中看不中用的花巧……

我们也是做过页面处理的，都不会这么折磨用户。尤其这个年代，都要短平快的，结果还不如旧版的直截了当。😂😂😂。

淘宝系统有问题？

最近几个星期用了淘宝，淘宝人生一直出现故障，比如图片扭曲变形，导致一直要关闭淘宝，再重新开启。现在淘宝感觉比以前慢了许多。海外物流也很慢更新最新消息，客服也是要绕一大圈才能问到问题。海外运费也好像越来越贵，不知道是不是随便量体重随便算价钱啊？运费都比我买商品还要贵。希望下一个更新可以改进这些问题。

淘宝海外集运太差了

淘宝在中国应该还过得去，但是海外的集运真的是太差了.海外集运物流简直就是把人当猴子耍，说了好多次今天送的，让我在家白等了好多天，结果连续好多次都显示运送失败，说会打电话也没打，人也没到，就直接说运送失败.我也不知道淘宝是怎么想的，说实话，网购过那么多平台，那么多年，从来没有哪次是这么的失望，就没见过这么不负责任的物流，淘宝选择的海外物流都是什么鬼.浪费我那么多时间在家里等快递.还是自几穷，京东和亚马逊的快递就没遇到过这么多的问题，客服只是一直说催促，但是根本就没有用.对淘宝好失望.说白了还是自己穷，贪便宜，如果不是穷，就直接用京东亚马逊了.唉....😕

都好，就是客户应用不好

客服应用自动中断时间太短，一个问题还没解决，已经被自动中断了好几次，换了好几个客服，每次都要花时间重复。

人工客服没有明显显示的选项，之前不知道要自己输入才能有这个选项，差一点被自动点击的客服弄得抓狂！

服务很棒的一个购物平台！之前反应很多卖家好评返现的现象导致买家们常常无法判断产品品质，没多久就看到明显改变。除此之外希望淘宝能让海外买家留评价。我常常遇到态度很好的买家，产品也是价廉物美，可惜无法直接留好评感谢他们。

淘宝那么多年都是很不错的，东西不贵质量也好。淘宝网的东西应有尽有，真的是很方便的购物平台。

但是淘宝的官方空运-【中通秀译超烂的】！客服态度很没礼貌，物流速度真的是慢！几个星期了都不把包裹寄出。投诉无门，拿他们没办法！只能干等！急要的东西没办法还得再买过用其他代运公司寄回来。淘宝管理部门应该好好管制你们的官方集运商的物流和服务态度！

没有淘宝我要怎么活啊？！

已经在新加坡用淘宝很久了，除了食品，其他穿的用的，还有孩子的玩具，只要不是非常重的东西基本都是淘宝买，用的挺顺手，比新加坡本地网站好用多了，什么Lazada好多东西也是从中国来的，而且速度还慢的要死，淘宝这么多年，除了一次跟国际物流转运公司的客服沟通被激怒以外，其他都挺好的，卖家，物流都很给力的

无法显示转运仓地址

最新一次的更新后，我在下单时虽然选的是海外收货，但无法转运仓的地址，出现的反而是海外收货的地址。要不是卖家联系我还真没注意到，希望淘宝能赶紧修复这个错误。要不然对国内的卖家和海外的买家来说是个问题。谢谢！

到达新加坡之后物流信息无法跟踪，收货只能驻守在家窝几天，不敢出门。

新的更新有问题

海外转运订单没出现在手机应用里。要到淘宝网页才看得到。这样影响了付款，如果从单一物件支付海外运费，会显示订单不存在。也没发对海外订单评价。这一切都要用电脑登入网页才可操作。你们没有检查就发布更新吗？太不专业了吧。

挺失望的

集运商弄不见我的货却没早告诉我，在多次追问下才承认。浪费非常非常久的时间与功夫。最后同意退款但也花了非常非常久的时间找联系人，叮咚叮咚太久，淘宝的集运商太不专业。

可以再进步

我在淘宝购买东西已经几年了。比起来，虽然现在购买方便了许多，运费也起来许多。几年前，淘宝新马集运是使用实重量为准。现在，用的是体积重量，所以运费也增加了。软件，比以前进步了很多，但是要是不懂华文的朋友们就没办法了🤷🏻‍♀️近年来，淘宝商家们也起价了许多，所以购买时候不但要看购物价钱，也要注意体积重量预算运费。算到来也许本地买比较划算。最后，用支付宝的朋友注意：手机支付宝是不能登记海外信用卡的。要用网上支付宝才可以。

非常满意

已经在新加坡购物淘宝很多次從來都不会出现任何问题只是淘宝转运新加坡的运费就贵了一点点 … 其他大部分都是好满意… 有时候买的衣服会太小或太大不过你要放购物车之前一定要注意尺寸这是好重要还有就是评论 😶不过大部分评论都是假的或被人刷好評 😒这一定要注意好如果有3-5个差评就不要购买 … 物品一定有问题 😑 所以网上购物也是要看清楚😉 我大部分的衣服裤子生活用品都是在淘宝购买回来 😋所以也不是完全不能淘宝买东西有时候会在淘宝遇到平靚正 😂
