It gives me a phrase a day to remind me of God’s power through His Word. The video could have subtitles in a place where I am unable to to tune up the volume or missing my earphones. Otherwise, it works well!

YouVersion Bible App is a Gem!!
I am so blessed by YouVersion devotional. It is really a gem!! God’s Word is not only easily accessible on my hp, its exposition together with examples used made it so relatable, so current and so convicting. I always see God speaking to me directly through every devotional I read. It touches and pierces right into my heart. And I really look fwd to reading them everyday!
I shared this app with my friends too and we’re reading the devotional daily together! Praise the Lord for this means of grace to His pp!

Awesome stuff!
I love how thoughtfully designed it is. There's a very clean interface that's cozy and doesn't give off a clinically sterile vibe. The night modes and the ability to download bibles and awesome typesetting makes it a joy to use. The fact that it doesn't need an internet connection helps me read up on God's word for encouragement as easily as possible. One thing I would love to see is built in Apple Pencil support for annotating the Bible with notes. The margins on each side of the text are large and to be able to write on them quickly would be amazing!

It is by far the best Bible app I found! Easy to use, personalised, best of all, Verse of the day is very homey !
The only suggestion is that often after watching the “Verse of the day” I felt so good about it and want to watch it again or share with family and friends, but it seems that the short video can be played only once and I can neither watch again nor share the video with family/ friends. I can only read the text and share the text.

Love all the effort to come up with new material, to reach out to different people, meet different needs, therefore touching lives every single time. :) Love that there are so many versions to choose from to cater to the readers preferences, experiences and community. This helps us understand the Bible so much more easily as well. Lastly love the dictation component which allows even blind people to experience the Bible. Incredibly helpful and edifying
My husband and I have used the Bible app for more than 10 years and in the past years we have done the various read through the entire Bible plans as partners daily. The 2 year Cheyne plan is especially edifying. The audio inclusion and access to images to create Bible verse layouts is incredibly helpful too. For someone who has never read the bible nor know how I would start, the verse of the day was particularly helpful for me as a daily progression to understanding the words of God. Quaintly, despite not having read the bible before, the verses speak to my heart like no other. I think life experiences play a huge role for one to truly appreciate and comprehend the words of God. I am thankful life brought me to read the bible. I am thankful I have not read the bible before (which meant I do not need to unlearn misconceptions of it). Good, but…
1) Can the developers consider doing away the heart/like comment function and replace with add comments, for the plans? It can be both a distraction and stumbling block, becoming like a popularity thing. Instead, if we can comment on other ppl’s comments to encourage others, ask or follow up with their questions etc, that is way more helpful.
2) Within the plan we are not allowed to flip or scroll freely to the next section of the bible. This makes it hard to read the Bible passage in context. If you can make this flip or scroll function happen that would be really useful, especially scrolling.

User friendly Bible App
The app is intuitive and user friendly. There are many languages of the bible to download and the option to download the version you want to use while offline. There is also the daily notification for verse of the day which encourages and reminds of His word. Believer of any stage is able to enjoy this app. I like that I could customise a photo with bible verse too! Been using this app since forever. I don’t have to bring one or several Bible out in my bag and still access to His word via many languages. Thank you for the team who started and continued this!

I like the easily available versions, n they help me to compare n understand bible verses better. Areas I hope to have or improve are: 1) am able to sort n file the bookmark verses for easy retrieval n reference. Bonus is also to able to export them for further usage and blessings to others eg. Ease of use. Unobtrusive. Useful.
I have been using this app for awhile. It is easy to use / navigate to find verses and chapters. There is adjuvant content if you want to look for it and gentle reminders without being too intrusive. You can use the verse of the day or any verse for that matter and make a desktop screen for your phone very easily with provided backgrounds and simple editing of fonts, size, position etc etc. ‘nuff said. Thanks a million for being a blessing.

Long time user. good experience
Used the app for several years. While I use another app for bible study, I find this app much quicker / faster in terms of loading bibles. I like how you can do version comparisons easily on this app. It also has a reading tracker which encourages me to make sure I use it daily. The last differentiator is in the ease to create digital cards with verses. I would like to be able to customize the copying of verses such that I can decide whether the verse location is quoted in front or after the verse.

The bible app is good for these reasons:
1 Easy Access.
2 It has the whole bible in it so you can refer to any verse you are interested to read for that day.
3 It has different plans that allows you to choose what matters most to you in any given time.
4 It allows you to type a prayer and pray.
5 It has videos of people who speak of their experiences and their understanding of the bible verse of the day.
6 It has many profile pictures you can save of the fave verse you like.
7 It allows you to share with a community even though I tried but it does not seem to work. Maybe it worked for others :)
8 You earn badges along the way and you can keep track of the number of days you are using the bible app so it helps you in making bible reading a habit.
With all the benefits above, there are also areas that can be improved.

Devotions and Bible plans
I really love that there are so many different Bible plans that I can start, all for free. Whenever I go through a hard time, there surely is a Bible plan that is targeted towards my needs. This has really let me grow closer to god. One of my favourites are Bible in one year and near to the broken-hearted. I also love that there are daily verse of the days accompanied by a wonderful takeaway video and a short devotion. I can log in daily to learn more abt the word of god this way

Best app! It has functions where you can highlight the important words and have daily verses!
You can choose you favourite story and you can also add backgrounds and print it out as a reminder. I definitely recommend it. Me and my family members have been using it for 4 years. It also have an audio function so it can be like a bedtime story. It doesn’t lag even when there is no wifi. I used it everyday at it is convinient. Good work!😊

Informative and Easy to Use
I have been using the Bible app for a long time now and I really thing that it has been very helpful. It is very easy to use and there are a lot of functions or topics that you can choose from. There is something for everyone. Whether it be for finding hope, growing your faith or simply just trying to get through tiring days. Great resource but......
It’s is the best bible apps ever. I have given 5 stars a number of times. But treason why it is 3 this time is the fact that despite having rated 5 stars a number of times, it is still asking for rating. After so times, it becomes disruptive and annoying. Please only have the new users rate, it is also more accurate that way, otherwise if 20 out of a 100 rating are from same users, it’s not representative. If it is because of updates, and you need to do it, let the existing users feedback instead. Thanks.

amazing app, amazing heart behind it
I love almost everything about the app. I'm so thankful for the teams that work hard every day to improve the app and bring God's word to people, for FREE! the only small complaint I have is that sometimes there are community notices (e.g. calls for contributions to help get the Bible to everyone by 2033) on the very front page when you open the app, so it's the first thing you see and can serve as a slight distraction for when you're ready to dig in to the word of God. the other thing is that the dot next to the Community header/bell button can be distracting as well when you just want to read the Word but end up getting curious about what others are reading instead, before you dive into the Word for yourself. but these are minor contentions. other than that, love the app and am very thankful for it! everyone (Christian or non-Christian) should download it for themselves and see what it can do for you. go on! give it a try!

Suggestions for improvement
Grateful for this Bible app but I think the navigation through different verses (something commonly required during sermons) is too cumbersome and unnecessarily distracting when using the app. For a start, can we have a easy way to return back to previous verse we are reading (to enable easy cross referencing)? Where there is a cross referencing already linked to a particular verse, can we have an easy way to navigate to that chapter to read the context and navigate back (above request)? Thank you for constantly improving the app experience and enabling easier reading of the Bible.

Please rethink short teaching videos on verse of the day
I love the Bible app - most features are well-thought through, and it does such important work in God’s kingdom in increasing access to God’s word.
If I may provide a point of feedback - while I can see the heart behind the short daily ‘teachings’ by various pastors all around the world, I’m wary that it perpetuates shallow/poor theology and lazy Bible-reading. Given the typical nature of the verses of the day and the need for a quick sound-bite, the short videos often (not always esp when pastors like Tim Mackie are on) appear to take the verses out of their historical/literary context, and at times verge on prosperity gospel or oversimplifying the Word. While we definitely need the Lord’s encouragement, the Bible is much more than words of encouragement. Unfortunately, the general tenor of the videos often make it seem like that is all there is.
I’d like to therefore urge the team to prayerfully reconsider this feature.

Share YouVersion?
In the Today page, the top panel used to be verse of the day. Now, it's the number of installs and a button to share YouVersion. I know YouVersion has been a blessing to many people, as it has been to me too, but I feel that this number should not be the topmost in the main page. I am reminded of David's census (2 Sam. 24), and how we shouldn't focus so much on the "numbers". I personally feel disturbed every time I see the main page now and would love it if there is an option to delete that panel. Thank you.

It's great!
Update 2021 It has many different versions of the Bible, free and easy to read! There are also Bible plans, prayer requests, all of which encourages users to spend time in the word of God and to draw close to Him. A few suggestions is that it could help to use the app more efficiently in it’s notes taking and Bible verse highlights/ bookmark section. Is there a way to organise the notes into folders? Also when i bookmark something a way to organise the tags so it’s easy to tag back because I don’t remember the tags I used. Thank you YouVersion Bible team for creating the app! ——————————————————————— It is easy to read the bible offline and highlight important points, the only problem is that it is not possible to read the bible and write notes without having to exit notes section. Also if possible, to allow users to choose the verses in a chapter faster without tapping the top search button.

Youversion Bible Reading Program
I have been following a program to read through the Bible in a year. So far i have been able to the schedule. It is easy to follow and places discipline on the user, which is good. Otherwise, the user could easily slacken and drop out. There is the highlighting of verses facility which is good but i hope that it allows more flexibility to highlight only the portions that I wish to. Thank you, Youversion

I have been using this apps for a long time and rated it before. Appreciate the team behind You Version who keeps on improving the apps’ features and devotional plans with users in mind. Hence, even after many years of using this Bible apps, I am still loving it and appreciating it everyday for allowing ease of access to His Word to users all over the world 24/7! Finding your Purpose
I am grateful i slowly transforming my life. I was desperately trying to achieve success in my life but no matter what I do it seems nothing change... but when I start reading the bible I said, “wow! This is what I’m looking for” I am lack about the word of God.
When you read the Bible, you slowly find the answers you are searching for. You become a good person- compassionate, forgiving person, and kindness. If you are passionate about helping people, you must prioritize the word of God. He will provide everything you need for your success.

Hey guys! Just wanted to say great job on the variety of features provided on the bible app to keep things aesthetic and easy to use. I especially love the new story feature. However, in the prayer segment of the story today, I noticed that “please” was used several times and that disturbed me a bit because to me it gave me the impression of begging, or that God was a bit unwilling to give us what we ask for(which was, in that prayer’s context, to be more like Him). To me, that didn’t reflect the God I am familiar with or that the Bible portrays. In Matthew 5:6, it is clear that God wants us to be more like him and to seek his ways more. Why then, do we need to ever beg God to make us more like Him, when it delights Him when we do, and He is such a generous God? Even as we pray for what we desire and want, as our friend and Abba, why would he hesitate to give if it is good and well for us? Idk just what I felt when I read the prayer. Jesus isn’t that far away, he’s skin to skin and breath to breath with us. Idk just a thought lol. Other than that, I think “It’s A Great way to get us started on prayer and caring about those around us in the world. Good job and hope this blesses you!

Excellent app
Love the app and the many plans that are available. Especially love the feature of having a community and being able to embark on bible plans with friends and see each other’s activities and keep one another accountable that way!
Just one thing I would suggest improving on is the synchrony of the starting date of bible plans that we do with friends. Because of the time zone differences across the world, my “today” may be someone else’s “tomorrow” and hence the start date of the plan is not the same and it keeps saying “1 day ahead” or “1 day behind” for the rest of the plan. Even when we click “catch me up”, it either over corrects or undercorrects. Not sure if I’ve explained this well enough but hopefully this can be sorted!

Great App
Good for reading many different bibles conveniently in an easy on the eyes format. Has a diverse number of plans to encourages readers to make a habit of reading the word, whatever step of growth they are in. Really like the function where you can share plans with friends to encourage reading and sharing of reflections.
Only feedback is maybe for those verse where I’ve written notes for - is there a way to indicate on the bible text itself to indicate that I wrote a note there? So that when I come across the verse while re-reading, I know that the note is there and I can read it. Otherwise, the current system of having my notes in a ‘scroll feed’ format makes it difficult to organise my notes.

This is the App I used very often to check Bible verses and references very quickly by using searches in “words” or “phrases”.
I also copied some Bible references when I do the sharing with many of my friends, with individual friends, friends/families in a group chat, whether they are believers or non-believers. This is because God has helped me understood that Jesus’ return is very near and we all have a duty to keep sharing His love, mercy and judgement to come.
I am grateful that God has made this App possible in our times through many faithful man and woman working on it.

Accessibility, simple and all places you can read
The bible app is very flexible and easy to navigate to all chapters. I like to access the bible app during my travel and out of home.
For easy and daily reading, this almost perfect. Since the handphone has become human daily item carry around, I use Hp to read my bible verses. However, I am old school, a copy of personal bible show the sentiment of belonging and relationship of the hard copy of the bible. Highlighting and writing notes make the hard copy importance of belonging to the bible.

One of the best
One of the Best bible app!
I like the feature where we can compare the verse in different versions which helps us to understand better.
It would be much better if I can choose the verse instead of just the book and chapter as it takes a while to scroll down for some of those chapters with many verses.
And instead of bringing us back to home page every time we toggle between apps, they can bring us back to where we left off earlier.

Great apps
I have been using this apps for a while now. I like the different versions offered as I may moved from one version to another to do my personal Word study. I am also using the English and Chinese version as and when needed. YouVersion Bible apps comes in very handy and it is easy to use. You may also save bible verses for personal reference or sent it to your friends to encourage them. A wonderful apps with many other functions for you to explore for yourself

Easy to use, with many features and functions
The app has a very user-friendly User Interface. The Home Page with the friends list gives it a social media feel, where you can share your highlighted verses or notes to your friends. Included are free Bible reading plans that can help you get started on reading God’s Word daily. You can also easily create your own inspirational verse image, or download one that’s already been made by others.
All in all, a very wonderful app for everyone hungry for God’s Word!
