Bought this watch as 6 year old son keeps on playing with the Apple Watch I bought earlier for him. Like the fact that I’m able to track and contact him, especially overseas. Love the auto roaming feature of this watch. Mohan from the Suntec pop up store assisted me patiently to set up and answered my questions well. Stable app for this appropriate watch for young kids.

Worse after upgrading software
Yesterday just upgraded software to fix bugs n improvement but it got worse after that. Every message i typed and sent the last text will still show on the text box which i need to physically delete. The watch still auto shut and restarts several times a day. Voice and video call still choppy, location still off, battery needs to be charged daily and i will make sure to charge it when i wake up before kid goes school because every percent counts! It is an expensive watch but I am glad I ddint spend more to get the R2.

First time purchasing smart watch for my boy. Not so tech savvy and encountered technical fault on the watch few months later. I panic and went to woodlands service center. Extremely glad to met Sky! Bug issues
This app always has some sort of issues with iPhones and worse newer generation iPhones. What’s the point of having a paid 4g watch that can’t connect to the parents phone. Rectify this issue. Is getting to a point of not using this watch.

Great watch to communicate with the kids
My kid has been using Myfirstfone R1 for more than 2 years. Voice call and video call are effective and sound clarity is good. So far quite easy to use to locate position of my child. Recommend this watch for parents who want to keep track of their children location and to stay connected with them.

Great basic communication tool for kids
Have been using myFirst Fone R2 for the last 2 months. Overall the app is effective to make voice or video calls with the kid wearing the watch. The app has a map view to quickly see the watch's position. My kids enjoy posting photos using the watch's camera function and via the 'Wall', as a parent, you see the kid's POV. Only complaint is the slightly unstable connection (eSIM) which means having to try multiple times occasionally.

Subpar standard app
This app is disastrous. Not user intuitive and you cannot find any guide out there. Only guide available is for connecting to watch at first startup. No information on how to add family member (e.g. my spouse) so that can connect the watch. No way to pull up QR code either….

Effective after service care from the team (sg)
I received this as a gift for my son and I was facing some technical issues. The help-desk is fast to attend and they had a customer service officer call me. Once they knew it couldn’t be rectified over the phone, they immediately arranged for a appointment at the service centre. Do not get the watch!
If u are thinking of getting the phone watch for your kid. Don’t. This app is really low quality. My kid sits next to me, and couldn’t call through to me - 40mins later I have a notification pop up to say that I have a missed call. The video call doesn’t work, I’ve tried chatting with an agent, and now it is 1 hour later - I’m still waiting.
When your kid calls you, sends you a text, you might not get it real time. This issue happens intermittently, and I’ll always have to get out and get back into the app (I’ve done it 6 times today, since this morning - it is 2pm).
Get this app to chat with your family and friends, don’t get the watch. When your kid needs you (which is why you got them the watch in the first place), your app might not ring.
PS: I saw a review from 2019 saying this happens with the R1, in 2024, it is still happening with the R3.

Not useful at all
Bought 2 S3 watches and it was my biggest regret. The app is full of issues. My phone didn’t ring even though my children call many times, messages don’t get sent out, GPS don’t get updated timely. We buy the watch to track and contact the kids but it’s not performing its intended function. Better off buying other brands with higher reliability

This is worst than the previous apps
This is worst than the previous apps “my first fone” . Now only can bind with one phone thus only the phone which is bind then can call or receive call from the watch. Second the combine GPS is 50 mins late ! Imagine your kid lost his way and you couldn’t locate him. We bought this watch mainly is for security reasons and yet it just couldn’t function as advertised. 😔

I don’t get notifications if there’s a call coming in (watch to phone), seems to only work when I’m in the app, I previously had firstfone app, which works better. Data call & video call doesn’t work properly, when (watch to phone) calls, I cannot hear the watch. Please fix issue… looking back at history updates, seems to be rectified, but guess not.

Don’t allow signing on
Downloaded app but when signing new account, it says Error :Duplicate User Accoubt, but when I try to use Forget Password to sign in, it says Error: User Account not found. So what is going on here? One can neither sign up new account nor can track my password. Pls fix this bug ASAP

Worse app and watch I’ve ever experienced
Requested to refund my watch after using it for a week. The app and watch have too many issues that they are basically unusable! My kid couldn’t send messages to me due to extremely unstable signal and the GPS tracking lag is unbearable. For those who are considering trying this, I would strongly suggest you look for something else.

Trial and error
There should be a user manual for this app. Apparently you need to update the firmware on the watchphone S3 for this app to work properly with it (able to make calls to the watchphone, able to track location accurately). A LOT OF FRUSTRATING AND TIME CONSUMING trial and error. But when u figure it out, its pretty decent - both the app and the kids watchphone S3.

Less features compared to the original legacy app
The most helpful feature to allow a child watch to be in both parent and both parent is admin is not supported. Now my wife has to use my account instead of her own which is mixing up chats with my kid. I have less confidence in recommending my friends to buy this and future myfirst fone product

App not functioning well
Today is 24 March. Till now there is still issue with the watch S3. Now my child cannot receive my message and the location is cannot be refresh. I have this watch for 1.5 months there is too much issue. // I received the s3 watch for a week. For the past one week GPS and message is not functioning. I have been contacting the merchants they keep telling me to wait for the technical team to update the app. After 1 week of waiting the gps tracking is still not working. Sometime the location is updated , sometime it is not updated at all. When my child tried to call me my phone is not ringing at all and it is not showing there is a incoming call. I brought 2 s3 both is having so much issue and giving so much problem. This is really waste of time.

Usual problems and lesser features
Its my fault to think that quality of app and watch will improve. But i was proven wrong, the gps continue to be lagging and not coming up on yhe map view. The emoji also gotten lesser. To make a voice or video became more difficult. And the watch can only be tied to one parent account. So my wife and me has to log in to same account thru the app from our individual phone. Yup, i can confirm i wont be recommending this to anyone.
