I have had a very bad experience as this has been a month and more , since I applied for my KYC to be approved. I have contacted with the back end team multiple times but all they ask me to do is to be patient and wait. I am sorry, but this is unacceptable as there is still no explaination why I cannot get my KYC approved.

Hugosave has really helped me save better. I love the “Money Pots” feature, makes it easy to set aside money for specific things I’m saving for. The “Spin the Wheel” in the “Reward Centre” is a nice touch too—who doesn’t like winning a little extra? Overall, super helpful for managing my finances.

I think this app is great if you want to get started with budgeting, especially if you want to get out of debt or are saving for a big ticket item. The fact that it’s debit based means you will only spend dollars that you have (no credit cards that you pay the following month). It’s great for people who have difficulty tracking their credit card spending and paying off their credit card in full. Bonus that the app design is so cute. I love the Money Pot Feature for this purpose because you can assign a specific savings goal for your pots. I also love the round up function where it rounds up all your purchase. Round numbers are so much easier to rmbr/track when budgeting and it’s always a nice surprise when you realise your actual spend is a little less than you thought because of the rounding. Minus 1 star as I feel like log in is a bit slow. Sometimes I don’t received the SMS OTP to get into my account or it takes me a few tries before I can log in. It’s really annoying. Please fix!

My favorite feature is the money pots, as I have attended a course before which asked us to use physical money pots which I have not gotten around to doing so. Having the money pots in the app make it way easier for me to save the money for different goals.

The app UI is very clear and easy to navigate. I just downloaded the app and was able to very quickly understand what are the different features in Hugosave (the pots, roundup etc). The roundup feature sounds cool but personally I don’t use debit cards and I prefer to use credit cards to earn miles/points, but I can see how this can be useful for students just starting out.

If you looking to make some simple investment, Hugo is the app to go! Its interface is user friendly and easy to pick up on! The money pot is easy to use and works like a digital piggy bank, making sure you make your monthly savings to ensure you meet your saving goals w/o overspending :) However I would appreciate if the app can stop asking me enter my pin each time I minimize out to other phone apps(I.e WhatsApp) that are less than 30s, maybe if I did not return to the app in 2mins, then the safety feature of entering the pin again would be nice. (Personal preference)

Transformational
As someone who’s always juggling multiple financial goals, I was searching for a tool that could help me stay organized and focused. That’s when I came across HugoSave and a feature that stood out to me was Money Pots which transformed how I saved. Prior to this, my savings were all lumped into an account. But with Money Pots, I could then separate pots for each of my goals such as retirement, kids education, medical, etc. One thing I really appreciate is the flexibility to adjust contributions to each pot whenever my priority shifts. This level of control has given me peace of mind, knowing that my money is always working towards what matters most to me. I love the user interface of this app and appreciate the security feature; Once i switched screens and open the app again, I will have to input my 6 digit passcode or can opt for biometrics. I also especially love the money pot feature! I find it good to use as I am able to partition my funds towards my personal goals I am working towards to at present. Eg. Family Holiday money pot, new car money pot. Etc.

I like that the app is very “clean” and easy to access different function clearly. One of the feature I like would be the personality test where i will be able to see a more “professional” analysis of the type of investor you are, rather and predicting myself. The “invest” feature is something I foresee myself entering daily to view the “profits” of my investment and to decide if I will be getting more with my spare cash.

Had the app before but decided to redownload! Realised they have updated their UI and it’s a lot cleaner.
Love the investment personality quiz as it helps me identify my risk appetite and the app gamifies investing such that it is easier to learn more about it.
I didn’t give full 5 stars because I think I have yet to fully try out all the features of the app to give a full review on it. So I’m looking forward to exploring!

Good savings App
If you are looking to have some simple savings through simple investments, try out this app. It is simple to use, the UI is user friendly, graphics are eye catching too. There are also rewards upon completing task which i like.
Investing on this app is easy just by clicking some buttons and its done! You get to try out on precious materials and curated ETFs.

Great for beginner
For some reason the app is designed to not be intimidating which is a huge plus for n00b like me. The Money Pot feature is basically piggy bank for adults who no longer hold on to cold hard cash. Everything is digital now and it’s hard to save money like when you’re in school and you want to make your primary school teacher proud. With my adult money I started a new pot strictly for travel. Has just downloaded the app as it has been all over the internet and have saw people publicing it on the streets. Upon downloading, I realise how simple the process was by just inputting ur name, phone number n emaul address and ur set to go! One of my favourite feature was the reward spinning wheel so tht I am able to win Goldback:) and in the app, you are able to see ur current networth! Every single time you have exited the app n login in again, the app will prompt the 6-digit passcode hence I find it secure as it will auto log up upon exiting too

Difficulty in changing phone number
app is great however i feel like the need to change number should be easier as my previous number has been cancelled and it was hard for me to contact the people in charge to get back to me asap through email as i could not find any contact numbers. now, i need to wait. likewise, my friend faced the same issue and had to wait four days to get his number changed and his money is still inside his hugo save account.
i find this such a tedious process, hope u can solve it 👍🏽

Can do better
Roundups can be done better. We should be able to choose how many X we want to roundup.. good example is revolut, every spending we can choose to roundup by x1 all the way to x10. Maybe u guys can do that. Then maybe i will use often. Or other people as well. Maybe can add exchange rate as well, so when people use usd to pay there wont be any issues. Currently using revolut, because of the system down.. i find revolut better, but no investment.. if u had some ideas from there maybe, just maybe everyone else might use this app. Just saying

Great app, but needs improvement in UI
First of all, this app has been amazing as I have been using Hugo for almost 2 months now. I really love the features, especially the Money pots that really motivates me in saving money for something that I like and having the roundup feature that could go to Gold vault every week.
However, one that I noticed recently since the new update is that the UI itself is a little messed up. For me is mainly the font size itself because they aren’t the same sizes. I’ve seen small words (e.g. the spending activity section) and the others are big (e.g. the “add to note” field) so you might want to fix and standardise the size of the font that could be easily readable to users. Before the update, the font size was okay, just that it suddenly messed up the font size after the update. I do appreciate this feedback. :)
Aside from that, the rest are okay with it. Would rate 4.5/5 stars for this app. Hope to hear from you, soon! :)

Easy way to purchase Gold ETFs with spare change
Inexpensive method to do the above - but due to the nature of the app, dun expect to engage in time sensitive trading….. ….You have other trading platforms and brokerages for that. Smart and simple way to stash aside spare change in ETFs - Great App!

Great app for everyday expenses
While this app is touted as a savings app, for me it can do more than that. I love that the central tenet is about saving small and daily, but it also allows me to track what i spend on, albeit in a limited way.
one cool thing about this app is that if you do make overseas purchases, the amt that is debited from your card/app is shown right away, allowing you to understand how much it's actually costing you.
