Horrible App
When I’ve accumulated enough points to claim a $40 fuel voucher, it just shows “Whoops!” Error message. Re logging in and reinstalling the app made me encounter the same error and be unable to access my account again.

Failed to sign up
Sign up failed after typing one of the name (first or last name) in the form. The keyboard and all the interface, buttons just stops responding.
Then unable to proceed because maximum OTP is reached.

Smart pay not functioning
The smartpay not able to locate nearest shell but the maps is able to locate my location and shows all the shell station. Please review.

Painful process to signup
Website kept having error message code when click submit, call hotline, ask me submit details over WhatsApp and told me is approve.
Then ask me download app and error user say member not found. Again, hotline support told me to sign up again on the app.
This is a total waste of time, haven’t start so many problem.

Very disappointing that a rich and profitable company is investing and not serious about the end user experience. Advertised so much on getting existing user to refer new user but no such function in the app and nowhere to find the referral code!

Canot switch between account
Latest app update has a bug. Can’t switch between rider and driver account. Could not use the card for cars after fill up. Dissapointing. Physical card will not have this issue. Please fix it

Terrible app
Can never receive OTP. Called the hotline and was told we need to ask the teleco to enable OTP for this app. This is the most ridiculous nonsense. Why other app dont have such problem? A complete failure and waste of time.

Latest transaction not reflected
My latest transaction on 8th June morning around 8:40am at Newton Hooper station 2 amounted to $80 plus is not reflected on my app thus points were not gained. Reported the issue to the employee over the counter, call the customer service and emailed them but with no avail.

Bad UI experience
The app force log you out after inactivity and doesn’t allow you to use different hand phone numbers for one account as different family members are using 1 account. It’s better to plan properly and roll out a bad digital product

Can’t even register via the phone Otp. No Otp sent after many attempts. Worse, only 5 attempts they showed an error message stating there have been 30 attempts and to sit out 30 mins before trying again!!!! Esso’s app is so so much better and user friendly… most imptly registration works!

why migrate when it is not an improvement to user? after u redeem a voucher, it does not show the voucher has been redeemed! u forgot n when try to use it next time, fail…so no discount at all..this app seriously making me consider to hop over to esso or caltax!!

Persistent login / FaceID required
Why does it require us to login with mobile OTP every time I use it? Why isn’t there FaceID login? Don’t do an app for the sake of it. Look at Grab. Look at the whole UX. Don’t underestimate UX. I’m almost done with Shell because of this app.

What an awesome app that can’t maintain session
First time I’m seeing an app that needs customer to login with OTP every time. Even a student will know how important it is to keep the session active.
On top of that most times I don’t receive the OTP. How do you expect a customer to queue up at the kiosk waiting to open the loyalty app?
Please fix the issue or at least bring back the loyalty card if you can’t fix the issue.

All the while no signs anywhere that the physical card will be replaced. No campaign, nothing. Attendant says throw away old card coz cannot migrate. Then when you duels app, it says can migrate. Lol. I don't have much points but for those with lots of points, don't listen to them.

App is always logged out when I need to use it
Shell staff keeps saying this is a problem with iPhone security — as if iPhone users doesn’t have any other apps on their iPhone that can keep them logged in for over a week.
This means they are never fixing this “not my problem” in their app. I’ll try to find peace in that they’ll keep paying those OTP sms for refusal to acknowledging & fixing their problem.

Why the app keep logging out customers??? With no physical card and a non working otp which render the app useless and beyond useless, how am I going to make payment as member??? Fine, I quit as shell member. Oh and do consider pay some decent money for a decent vendor to build your app.

“Registered” as an existing Shell Escape member, but after keying in membership number got sent back to first page for registration, as if I hadn’t registered to begin with! App also didn’t send OTP and I had to prompt for re-send, now told to wait 30 minutes to retry. FAIL!!!

Attempted to use the app to pay my petrol and so coincidentally the otp doesn’t work and my card was kept by the previous shell kiosk when I tried to sign up for the app.
So guess what, the cashier told me im not eligible for any discounts and they ran out of member cards after pumping the petrol.

Hi, installed and tried the App. However, after numerous times, no OTP was received. Was then locked out from receiving OTP.
Couldn’t log in, couldn’t accumulate points and get the discount on petrol.
Call centre couldn’t help either. Said I should have received the OTP. Couldn’t unlock the account.
Kept trying through the whole day. Can’t receive the OTP.
Escape card was much better. Should consider reverting.

I think it’s really silly that you can only use the all and register 1 card for either a motorcycle or a car. Why not include an additional card if the person drives both kinds of vehicles?

Easy to use app
Very easy to use app so I don’t need to bring my escape card with me every time I pump petrol at Shell. So I can accumulate both spending on my 2 cars in one account. Easy to use also. I can choose what I want to redeem instead of listen to what cashier suggested to me. Haha.

Thanks Shell for this long awaited app. It allows me to not carry my physical escape card anymore whenever I pump. In addition, I got free rice and 10% off my total bill. Well done Shell 👍. Looking forward to more features.

Bo liao translate nothing or no substance.
That is what this app is about. Corporate shell re doing the same old thing while troubling customers to migrate account (without migration of points). And then guess what, your rewards are same old unattractive points. You cannot pay using the app. You have to even select the 10% reward when you show to cashier next time with a MINIMUM SPEND. Corporate shell is ridiculous, never listens to feedback and maybe that is why I see caltex having a more roaring business than shell.
