VssID được thiết lập để cung cấp các tính năng cơ bản sau:
- Cung cấp các tính năng tra cứu thông tin BHYT, BHXH, BHTN của người tham gia, bao gồm các loại hình thông tin về thẻ BHYT, lịch sử tham gia BHXH, lịch sử thanh toán KCB BHYT;
- Cung cấp tính năng hỗ trợ chăm sóc khách hàng qua nhiều hình thức tiên tiến, hiện đại như gọi điện, nhắn tin SMS/ email, trao đổi thông điệp trực tiếp (chat) trong app, thông báo/ cảnh báo các thông tin liên quan tới chính sách BHYT, BHXH, BHTN;.
