Reporting illegal parking
The apps is great except for “attached apps” (like One Service)that somehow is not up to mark or have quite illogical restriction.
Many of us would report illegal parking only if it pose a danger to other road users.
Currently we have to be within 250 metre of the scene, take a photo & report within certain time.
May I know how long the relevant authority be present at the scene once they even notice the “app report” & take to clear the “danger”? Was the restriction make such that most of concern road users feel hopeless & give up reporting it? Btw, I’m also giving up to report such cases.
I believe no reporting restriction should be above road safety, in this case.
Please amend such restriction that make many to give up making our road safer.

Illegal Parking is not working
The illegal parking app is always unable to take picture and proceed. Always hangs there and no amount of restarting works. It has been so for a few version over more than 1 year. Works at times and sometimes it doesn’t.

I had been unable to make full use of the app for a while now, it says no connection and unable to show my details there. Im using iphone 16 Pro max, 5G connection from Singtel and 10 Ghz of WiFi speed. I doubt my device and internet having issues. When was the last update? Seems never.

Poor PR Comms & Context App Notification
Recent app notification of reporting neighbors via app about child or elderly abuse smells like collaboration with the state policing/spying upon neighbour family’s lives, even if it is a civic and moral duty to help. Should have simply just frame it as “Does a neighbor need help with social services?” Sounds a bit more better doesn’t it? Moreover, majority of users for this app do not need the featured service above; you are just scaring users and creating mistrust in general sense. The notification should not have been sent en masse.

Force us to change from Singtel TV Go to this nonsense. Watched the Live TV on this app, cant even full screen it, if press for full screen, the app will crash. And once in the Live TV, you cant go back, either crash the app or force close it. Either fix it asap or let us go back to Singtel TV Go. Dont force us to change when the app isnt ready.

Preschool search and registration of interest
Not able to register infant care interest for yet-to-be-born child through the preschool search, where it was supported previously on ecda website up to 3 months before EDD.
When I tried today, website mentioned on the announcement that the ecda cms website for preschool search has ceased today and to go to LifeSG, while new search service is only available from 1 Apr 2024. It seems the flow doesn’t allow input of unborn child. :(
Pls advise how I can go about to still make the interest enrollment which is very time sensitive, given the difficulties to get a place in infant care, and now I can’t even register to be put on waitlist. Thank you.

App that lacks relevance and focus
The app is rather messy with bad UX
It dedicated a huge space for contents that might not be relevant to you e.g register your child birth. I mean, if you can retrieve profile from SingPass and as a government app, you can do some basic personalisation right? I feel pressured with marriage support and register child birth every time I opened the app and this was along side with information on reporting neighbourhood issues. It just feel information overloaded and not sure what the app is trying to do.

More like a landing page, still requires multiple logins
I tried LifeSG because of the many banners advertising it in the OneService app - thought perhaps I should see if this one app can replace the several on my phone for the various government agency-related tasks I do. However, it seems to function more like a landing page linking out to the various other apps?
For eg, I was required to login w Singpass when I open LifeSG, but had to login again for OneService reporting (which was a simplified but less user-friendly version of the full OneService app). Then, when I tried checking medical appointments, I was redirected (presumably to HealthHub) to login again. So I’m opening an app and logging in, only for it to open another app and ask me to sign in again.
I guess it might work well as a discovery tool for someone who is clueless about the range of government services and apps out there. But if you know what you need, probably a better bet to just go directly to the specific app.

Can you remove the requirement to input email address or have it populated by default, like mobile. I always have to enter my email when submitting a report case through one service / neighbourhood. And when I feedback via the apps, I am required to enter my NRIC and email? Why do I need to enter my NRIC?

Poor integration and process with ica
Application process via app was ok. However the integration and application process is horrendous. A simple birth cert is taking more than 3 working days. Still radio silence on my child birth certificate despite following the instructions and making payment.
Lifesg Helpdesk diverted the query to ICA. ICA doesn’t reply. If planning to go digital but worse off than physical certificate. Why spend tax payers money to develop a poorly integrated app?

Suppose to be an app for one stop gov services but simply just redirect to the various gov websites and google is so much easier and superior for this use case. To those who may be blindly giving good ratings, do you know how to use google and have some integrity pls (stop giving 4-5 stars with no example given for the high rating which are basically fake reviews)

Still Crashing on every launch

Utter disappointment, been more than 2 months since iOS 16 beta is out in June (4th public beta released today 16th Aug) and LifeSg is still crashing consistently.
This is a fundamental issue but lacked commitment by the team to resolve it. Should take a leaf from how quickly SingPass mobile fixed its compatibility with iOS 16.
I had to borrow a friend’s phone to download and redeem the NS55 credits, and have since given up and deleted the LifeSg app today.
Govtech management needs to beef up the engineering standards towards its claimed vision.

App is still crashing consistently even after iOS 16 preview and public beta 2 were released almost 2 months ago! This is just a simple app that comprises mainly bookmark links to webpages, and it makes me wonder how bad the engineering standards of Govtech is to can’t even fix a simple issue.
Even my bookmarks in Safari loads much faster than this app. Will just opt for the physical NS55 vouchers instead of waiting in vain.

iOS 16 preview has been out since early June and several of us are already using it. SingPass mobile fixed its compatibility shortly, while it’s been more than a month and nothing from the LifeSg developers to even address this. Quite an inconsistency and disappointment with govtech.

I went to sheng siong to use the NS55 credit.. upon using it’s paynow feature… it showed that sheng shiong have been paid but they did not recieve anything and the amount has been deducted from the app… so i lost $20 there and did not even show up in the transaction history🙁

Singpass agree button on consent page missing at profile sync
Clicking on profile, I am directed to login singpass which I did successfully and it asks for consent to sync data from all the different agencies by clicking the ‘Agree’ button but this button is missing in the page after scrolling all the way down.
On pinching and zoom in, I could see the button but could not activate the button... seems to be the app browser resolution issue... how can this be fixed? Tried putting my text size to smallest but no difference.

govTECH epic fail
App was fine with NS55 credits the day before. The next day however, when I’m about to make a purchase over counter, it forced me to download a huge update which is above the App store limit allowed by 4G. Had to literally give up my purchase as I’m holding up the queue!
Why does lifesg even take up almost 200MB when it basically feels just like a website lazily wrapped into an app. Every page navigation has a jarring dimming effect and painfully slow loading that just adds on to the frustration. Very jerky and sluggish ux. As a “TECHNOLOGY” agency, please have some tech decency to develop the app of polished and native quality.

as per your reply to one of the review you are saying that log out can be done at profile page, when I click on the profile the Singpass login page pop up, I close the Singpass page then I am back to my LifeSG app, I am still log in, there is no such thing as "gear icon"; I am using IOS 15.5

The App is neat and very easy to use. I saw the credit message stating $100 credit is given and the display is $0. Another message saying to wait till end of July for the update. Please review the message and the display consistency as it is confusing.

Security risk: No means to logout of LifeSG
Hi, I noticed user cant logout of the mobile app once logged in. Even if u delete the mobile webpage, the personal information is available (without having to key in password) once u tap the mobile app icon. This posed a security risk especially when u lost your mobile phone. User has to delete the LifeSG mobile app in order to prevent leakage of personal information when user lose the mobile phone. Please assist.

Need better integration and streamline with other GOV apps
Not very useful and useable .. there are multiple redirection to other apps with multiple SingPass signon. SingPass apps also has directory to access other GOV apps. So redundant access that can be confusing for users. What about OneService apps? All these GOV apps need to streamline and integrated for ease of use to avoid service redundancy and better deployment of gov resources to work on these GOV apps.

Birth registration failed. Clitch??
My application stated my submission was successful and require me to book an appointment for collection. Upon clicking make appointment, the app just close and shut off. I have try re-login for at least 10 times but still failed.
The app suppose to make it hassle free but instead it become a hassle. Now i have problem to arrange the appointment to collect the cert as the ica website e-appointment required the UIN/FIN no. which cannot be find in the app.

Great intentions, but more streamlining please!
I think the app was developed with great intentions - but whatever I click leads me to a third party website portal and it functions essentially as a directory (which can be technically done with a mobile site without having an additional app cluttering my iPhone). Will be useful if all functions can be streamlined and conducted within the app environment instead. Also as a citizen, it is quite confusing if I need to download multiple apps that does the same few things e.g. Singpass, life app, tracetogether, health buddy, etc etc.

Tried using this app to register birth of my son. Took quite a long while to figure out where to go to register.
When finally got to site, logged in with singpass but received error msg, “oops, we encountered an error while processing your request. We will look ....”
Tried few more times and finally gave up after receive error msg.

More harm than good
This app not only didn’t help but ended up creating more issues for me. Tried the birth registration function. We had a single birth but a glitch caused the system to show twins. I had to run around between the hospital and ICA to try to correct the system and get a refund for my double payment. It’s still not resolved. And the worse part? The hospital registration counter was open all the while with no queue. I could have registered my child within 15 mins without this app. Please, just get rid of this useless app.

Down for maintenance and yet?
I filled in all the info for birth registration, all the way to the last part where the next click will send a sms to my spouse for her confirmation. Yet, it brought me back to the main page saying that the service is down for maintenance. If it is down, why didn’t it indicate right from the start? A typical Singapore government app, just like all other government related agencies where quality is never the priority

Parenthood does not stop at pre-school
As a parent for 2 teenagers, I think more Singaporeans can benefit from the applications if we have more features useful for Primary to early Secondary, or even up to JC/Poly.
A timeline for major events such as PSLE exams dates, when the teenagers needs to apply for their NRIC, and maybe a way to apply for the permit to exit Singapore would be so much help.
You might even consider replacing the yearly printed booklet for Secondary School selection with a section of this app (I understand most of the info is already available on MOE website anyway), and provide various features for parents and student to narrow down their selections.
