Mobile Network is terrible

Have been using My Republic since sometime last year! Been great but lately for the past 6months it has been giving me lots of issue, I’m unable to connect to the mobile network hence unable to surf net or open up my apps at all, it just froze and sometime it appeared to be 3G. Tried to reach your online chat but didn’t resolve my problem hence decided to call in and it took me abt 20mins before someone attended to me. Staff service is great, very patient in assisting me to reset network setting, shutting off and on etc, to be honest been trying every time it gives me problem, solved awhile and comes again! But still I think the staff deserves a 2stars. Felt so annoyed and frustrated that I finally decided to switch over to another telco that gives me network stability, honestly no point being cheap but yet can’t do the job. Hope you will continue to improve!

I cannot even activate my sim card. Keep crashing at the steps when need to scan my ID. Try website version even worse. The website down at keying the sim card number. At the end of the day, I still need to physically go down to the actual store. Wasted 1 week of my time, as the delivery was delayed too.

Horrible Support

Horrible support after submitting ticket till now no response.
My case as below
1. I make an appointment to terminate the broad band services and collection of devices.
2. Then customer service officer confirmed but then inform me that early termination will not refund any balance.
3. Hence, I decided to change the date later to 2 weeks later after to be sure for my reno to be done, this appt is confirmed through email notification too but I realised the date specify the 1st date.
4. I proceed to email and update the cs that the date and time as agreed is wrong and he then give me the email notification for the new date.
5. I thought all was good till hell came as my line was cut based on the first date and I am left wondering if there is anyone coming to collect anything.
6. No numbers to call, the live chat cs behave more robot than the robot on this issue and can’t even simply verify and just return back to ur internet and follow as agreed in the second email.
7. Just horrible services and horrendous amount of time spend in trying to contact a support. Very sure there is much better deals even from our 3 Brand’s in Singapore cause I am being charge higher than them too, I took this cause of the gaming set up but it is super disappointing as the person that signed me up is not responsive too.

Full Signal but Poor Connection Speed

Got full signal on my apartment 4G Volte. But the connection speed only 5Mbps. Are you kidding me? I thought it can be 20-30 mbps. The latency also unstable compared with sing**l (30-120). I am disappointed and will stop the subscribe next month

Crap customer service contact chat service

the app works ok for your account details but worst when you have issue with mobile and tried to contact customer support via chat service here in the app…waste of time. it will disconnect for no reason and you’re back to square one…such a crap and very frustrating when you’re in real need urgent mobile issue.

Crashes during ID verification of SIM activation

Like another review says. App crashes at the step to verify ID, even with camera and location access granted. So I had to do it using a desktop web browser, Safari to be specific—since the site fails to request location services on Chrome, and I had no way of granting it.
Previously I could not even set a password to enter my account, because their Forgot Password flow on this mobile app failed to send me any emails. This password flow also only sent me the email when I used a desktop web browser.

I signed up a line for office use and I’m absolutely happy with the signal strength. It’s a value-for-money plan that I have ported over my other line. Once my mum’s contract is up in a month’s time, I will port over the number too. Keep it up!

Activate SIM card thru Apps

Upon receiving new SIM card on Friday night, I quickly put in SIM card to my phone and activated thru the apps. Half way thru activation, the apps suddenly shut down and I tried again and again but it shut down at the steps. I try looking for help, but chat bot technical team only work on weekday 9am-6pm, what a experience for me using the Myrepublic mobile for fist time….speechless

unable to prove my identity

just got the card today and i’m trying to activate my sim by creating a Myrepublic account. when i get to the identification, the app tells me to allow camera access but when i turn it on and click next, the app just crashes, i cant even activate the sim card. Plus its a weekend,saturday, during which their services are unavailable, which is understandable everyone needs their rest. However, this would not have been a problem if my card came on the stipulated date which was Thursday but it instead came on friday night when i was away.

Consolidated Account Statement

Love the brand, love the people in Myrepublic.
Great company and experience I had with your employees at AMK branch, very kind and patience with my multiple visits, in the end I took up 4 accounts from you.

Confused and Annoyed

I've only just ported over and already i've been logged out - barely 12h from first logging in.
I activated face ID when i changed my password but there was no option to use face ID to sign in and i had to key in my login details. Again, i was prompted to select to use face ID to login in the future.
For technology, one data set is enough. I'm pretty sure i will have the same issue 12h from now.

Guys, can you put a simple thought into your head? Making a service app should be a top priority for your customers. My Republic Mobile

Love your brand and the founders am sure you guys are great at customer svc. Your app is good for the services for subscriber . However, I do note that you discriminate existing customer loyalty by availing BETTER rates for NEW customers! In addition, when one is on the phone cannot receive messages as the network toggles to 3G instead which is really a joke in current data heavy needs. I only wished that my Republic use 4G n also migrate to 5G soon! The downgrade while on the phone to 3G does not work in this info age! Anyway, I love that your hotline customer service staff is rather helpful ! They are great and very patient and responsible to assist to resolve issues !
