Lack Support
A few of my M Label vanished from my bag and it was previously set to Appearance 2, but that too was empty. File a report, and they kept denying that it was not missing and refused to rectify. I had payed a huge sum of money for it but they didn’t want to help and kept making me lodge multiple times on the same issues only to tell me they double checked and it was my fault that I am unable to see the item.
What a fraud company.

Random ban
Initially I was excited about this game which is the same as many of you.
Though there are still lots of improvements to be done, I am still satisfied with the game time to time improvements.
Until one day I was just clearing my daily quest as per normal and I have lots of auto battle timing so yes I do have the rights to auto battle for extremely long period of time, when all of a sudden I got banned for no reason. I didn’t even do anything for me to get ban and I still got banned for God knows why.
It got me frustrated. I still gave a 2-star for the old time sake of playing the game for months.

Banning accounts using Apple devices
As subject title, I am using iPhone/Ipad to play this game and got permanent ban with the reason of using abnormal device. I even stated in the Nexon customer service that the product I am using is IPhone and IPad but still get the same reply. Nexon is banning players using Apple products now? Wonderful.

Spent close to thousands of dollars and ended up with nothing. Super rigged, don’t understand why developers cannot lower the % for equipment enhancement to appeal to more players. Most players don’t even buy or sell through trade station anymore. Developers constantly rolling out expensive package, only appealing to rich players who are willing to spend tens of thousands of dollars.
Only a handful of players left, but creating multiple accounts of alternate heros to farm.
If basically a paid to play game. And worse, doesn’t even guarantee you happiness even if you pay to buy packages. Better off spending your money on games that guarantees equipment enhancement with money.

There seemed to be no solution for iPad because the number of crashes are too high. Even if I do not get kicked from the game during boss runs, it does not mean that the crashes do not matter anymore. I have 2 in-game characters (i.e. A and B). While playing B, my game crash and since then, I was not able to load my game when choosing to play B. So I had no choice but to go back to A. Wrongful ban, poor customer support
I was banned and when I asked the customer service team, they said they cannot tell me why I was banned. Not the first time. This time round they banned me for 36524 days (feel trolled by nexon, at least they included the leap days). After playing intensively for more than 2 years I am forced to quit. At least I got my life back.
Oh, and not to mention after every update there’s always bugs and patches will ensue. Followed by more patches to patch the failed patches.
To any prospective player, don’t moan that you wasted your time when nexon decides to ban you for unknown reasons. You’ve been warned.

5 Years Review For The Game
Maplestory M is a game for many ages and has multiple items to do on the platform for new players. Having played the game since launch in 2018 till 2023. I must say that the game fail to garner interest and new players that enter the game would find themselves spending lots of money but achieving minimal results. The game developers uses recycled ideas each patch update that was done on previous patches. Bugs would be expected as all typical MMOPRG would expect after patches. What is interesting though is how this moderators bans users on random basis and at times for no reason. As you progress on later stages and bosses in the game you will realise that drop rates for boss monster are almost non existent. I do boss runs daily but only boss drops like once a month and those stronger boss mobs almost once a year. If you do math it just doesn't justify yourself continuing the game. Each patch update there would also be hidden items which are updated and not mention on patch log. These items will be deliberately made scarce so that the cash shop will be made readily available for you to buy. Examples would be legendary accessory drops from monsters boss, auto battle time taken from daily chest boxes. Forcing you to spend the money so that you can advance further.
The game also promotes Gacha. For anyone who doesn't know what it is , it is basically an indirect form of gambling which allows you to obtain special items on chance by rolling. Such features have been deem unacceptable in other countries and thus banned for allowing user to play the game. While the game does have its fun features , the future for it remains bleak. The director of nexon has no direction for the company which have been announce recently in a korean press conference. Hence for any new entrance would recommend you enjoying the game and not rushing for top tier gears only to realise after a coming few months the things you spend on have been replace by a patch.

Banned for no reason
Just started playing after their ads for the 4th anniversary. Boring game that makes you farm numerous hours to level. To progress with better equip, it seems to force you to pay to win. The worse thing is they banned me for no reason when I’m just playing the game as usual. When asked for the actual reason, they claimed “due to security reasons, we regret to inform you that we cannot disclose the evidence we have found against your account”. Simply delusional and poor ethics. Looking at the past reviews, it seems that the developer bans players for no reason. Don’t play this game unless you you are ready to get banned after putting in so much time in the game.

They ban you for no reason
This game used to be excellent (3-4 years ago) but became extremely bad. My best guess is the management and/or software developers changed. They seems to have an algorithm in place to ban rapidly progressing players who don’t spend the targetted amount (fyi I spent some money on this game). You can verify this in other reviews and forums.
The biggest irony is they don’t take actions on those hackers. You will see lots of them when you do quest at level 140 onwards.
Their customer service is a one way chat; you can only raise your concern by raising another “report”. The standard template response is to tell you to be patient as they have “forwarded” the issue to the other department (blame game culture). When raised another report on the same issue, they will pay lips service AGAIN without any solution.
My advice to you is please don’t spend any money on this game, and if you did, request for refund as they may ban you soon for no valid reason!

CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS NON EXISTENT
It has been 10 days and counting..
I was regionally locked out of Trade Station after a game patch on 18th Feb and thereafter I submitted a ticket to Customer Center.
I can’t believe they took 5 days just to respond to a ticket AND thats not the worst part..
They’ve informed me that the Netherlands will no longer have access to the TS and automatically flagged the ticket as Solved.
The only issue is I’m from Singapore and I logged in via my Facebook account. A simple cross verification of the country of origin would have uncovered the discrepancy or if the complainant is allow to feedback to the finding of the support team.
Do note that after submitting a support ticket, you are NOT given any means to input a reply. You can only wait for a response and thats it. So its essentially a one way street where you’re forced to accept the findings of “support” team. I’ve not encountered a customer service whereby the customer is restricted from interacting with customer support staff.
I had to submit a new ticket on the 23rd Feb and am still waiting for a reply as of today, the 1st of March.
You would have thought that Nexon with 28 years of experience would have get it right but their customer service is even worst then a D tier publisher. Absolutely horrendous.

Too many restrictions on trading items
Bewilderingly this game has a million restrictions on item movement, not only between accounts, but within your own account. Event items, if you accept them on the wrong char, are stuck. Things you buy on trade station can end up on the wrong char too. Your old equipment becomes useless, even if you spent time and money on it. They say it’s to prevent gold farmers, yet you can’t report obvious bots with names like ghfhsgk that join parties and leech gold because their reporting system is broken (you can’t report bots if they don’t attack - I don’t understand why). I enjoyed the gameplay but eventually realized how ridiculous the system was, when I took an event pet (after spending a lot of time on the event) into a wrong char and found it couldn’t be moved by storage - realizing the whole trade restriction thing isn’t about farmers, it’s about making players more wed to gems and p2w items. Honestly I’m happy to spend money, but not when I’m forced into it by deliberate reductions to quality of life that most mmo players take for granted - like trading items.

All good but expedition party issues
Im wondering is there any way to have players joining an expedition to have the choice to start the expedition. i encounter many expedition party leaders who NEVER start and we dont have any other party to join. Its a waste since there are always players looking to play as a grp but all cannot start because the leader afk. im sure we all rather have the afk players die during the battle cos they deserve it, than be stuck with the choice of playing alone or waiting until expedition window is over.

Pointless and Boring
I’m a huge maple fan, but this mobile version is simply boring. The whole game moves forward by auto battling and auto questing. Everything is and can be done through clicking auto and turning off the game. Even equipment drops are only available via auto battling. Absolutely zero incentive to actually play the game manually. Instead, there is full incentive to let the game run on its own and watch it like a slow boring movie. There should at least be something for the player to engage with the game. Even monster hunting is boring with only meso and potion drops. Will nexon make the game more playable (literally) for users?

Injustice Ban
Dear Nexon,
I am one of the global maplestory mobile players, World: Asia 2, Server: Union
On 15th September 2021, two of my maplestory accounts were permanently banned, with the reason given due to violating the terms and conditions. I have tried to check with the customer support to clarify the issue, however I did not manage to get a proper response on the reason of being banned.
I started global maplestory mobile 3 years ago and I have put a lot of effort and energy into grinding and enjoying the game's contents. When I managed to get to level 198 to lvl 202, I was very happy and motivated to continue to grind because Nexon has introduced 5th Job Skills with V matrix skills.
I have done my best as a loyal player and I am very depressed and sad due to the recent restrictions of my accounts on global maplestory mobile without any warning and notices.
I would like to seek an appeal and review from Nexon on my both mentioned accounts, to uplift the permanent ban and reduce the ban period to 30days. Why did hell would I want to risk my lvl 198 and lvl 202 character that I took at least 2 years to lvl? I must be crazy. Please check thoroughly. There are others that break more violations than me but still got banned for 30 days only. Where's the justice for this?

Pls remove or reduce hyper stat price
As we all know hyper stat gives a very nice boost in dmg as well as other things such as star force etc. Hence I would like to point out that 50mil meso per lvl is pretty much a rip off since only late game has a big impact for using hyper stat (scaled) and lower levels cant even experience hyper stat unless they are funded or p2w. I’m not dissing long time players or cashers but the fact that this 50 mil per hyper stat level is here means that f2p players would have a much harder time than anyone to experience the game from a fresh perspective. I know there are meso bots out there but isnt it the dev’s job to rid of them? Srsly take this into account and stop releasing new content when your f2p players can barely touch or experience it. Srsly ty.

It's the first time ive given any app a serious review..first,i wish to thank you guys who brought ms to our phones and made it easier for us to play anywhere anytime(if that's the aim)...but..as a ms fan since 10years ago, what was most important to me(and my ms friends )was the socializing between players, the effort of leveling up (Slowly )and exploring new features(clothes ..weapons ..quests and party events)... It was not found here as the auto quest /auto attack button ruined lot of the fun... Players are able to get various features unlocked within few quests and shorter time...and auto-controls also meant lesser socializing... What we treasured before was made to seem unnecessary... But..Everything else was really great ... and really appreciate the effort love MS!

Account restricted with no mercy
I understand that I use bot for a week only but my account has been restricted right after I have spent 207 dollars(for the month) on Maple M.
Once my account has been recovered all those event item is going to expired. In addition I don’t think I am able to enjoy the 68 dollars package as well since it’s going to burn off within that 30 days.

Wrongful Bans
Not recommending this game unless, you’re willing to spend, A LOT.
Quoting “abnormal gameplay”, Nexon has been banning f2p users without giving a shred of evidence of what was done to justify a permanent ban, when players who actually engage in illegal gameplay receive temporary bans. Don’t bother writing in or commenting on their Facebook page too, as their social media team will direct you to their CS team, and then all you’ll receive is a bunch of automated replies informing you that they’ve investigated and abnormal activities were verified to be linked to your account.
After attempting to resolve this matter with multiple e-mails (sent from multiple e-mail accounts because even sending automated replies is too difficult for them), I’ve since deleted the game and requested for Apple to refund me for my in-game purchase — which they’ve so graciously agreed to. This is what customer service is about, actually investigating and responding case-by-case, Nexon. Please take some notes.

Received the 3rd ban again for no reason. Maple keep claiming adnormal activities on account...
I even received an email from them claiming that they were unable to find evidence in the previous ban. Now I am ban again.. and they claim evidence was found. Seriously, it’s really irritating cause the time and effort spent on the game was all wasted thanks to the ban. Items expired after they lift the ban and all they can say was sry for the inconvenience caused. Didn’t even get back my expired items. Saw many f2p ppl complaining of wrongful ban on fb. So well if u guys are not planning to spent $ on this game don’t waste time cause they ban f2p players ?

Game is ok but not support
Game was fun, memories from the past while playing with present friends. Support is bad, template replies . Innocent players been system auto ban for no reason without bot,macro,hack or meso purchase yet support gives only template replies that your ban cannot be revoked and told to accept it.
Look at the posts players made at their facebook page and selective reading and replies without addressing players that been painfully posting and posting appealing for their accounts. Why would players spent time posting,appealing, a botter like those flying ard in maps would just make another new account.
Been playing mapleglobal till maplesea was open in 2005 and moved to maplem because its more convenient to hang ard with friends, 10 over odd years of support for maplestory and cs support for maplem is the worst out of them. I dont see why would anyone recommend this game to others at this present stage where players look like test n trial for their anti hack systems.

Wrongful ban of user
Hi, I've been playing maplestory m since it's launch in Singapore. Recently I got restricted from entering to the server for nothing. I've emailed to Nexon before and I only got a reply of illegal/abnormal activities in my account which banned me for 30 days from entering. I would like Nexon to provide me with enough proof of the abnormal activities. I'm not a big spender but I did spent a decent amount on packages the game has offered. And I just bought daily crystal before getting ban. The AB offered is too little for us to train which is why most of us manually train. I even gotten reported before for manually pressing the attacks, I’ve send in attached picture of me manually attacking & still got macro detection. We would all be appreciate if Nexon can just delete the whole app. And do provide an answer to those people who got ban for 30 days for "abnormal activities". Please also provide an answer on why some people from the last ban were given only 3 days ban with the same illegal/abnormal activities reasons. Maplers who were banned wrongfully would appreciate Nexon in giving us a decent answers to all of this.

Ban players that aren’t violating terms and conditions
Been playing and spending on this game for more than 6 months and resulting in restricted to server recently. The customer service team reply given was illegal / abnormal activities found during gameplay within the account with enough proof. The biggest problem is, there is no illegal / abnormal activities involved and yet resulting for account banned. There is no proof shown or given to those players who contacted their customer support and all we received were their automated reply without solving the matter. Customer support team mentioned that their system could detected all these abusers. Is there any guarantee that the system provides no error / mistakes possible made by the system? We are seeking for your cooperation on solving this matter as soon as possible. It will be very ridiculous and disappointed if justification to ban players are 100% rely on newly implemented system, whereas no proofs are given to players that made the report. Please work professionally to resolve this matter as soonest as possible.

This is very bad game which people did not use bot/Buy Meso/Do illegal Activity/Sell item for real cash.
But they ban it giving the same automated email and no respond from customer service after they send the automated email.
They did not hack/bot
They only play with free tickets GIVEN BY MAPLESTORYM.
If play auto battle with free tickets also can get ban, what’s the point to play this game.
Customer service is treating all innocent maplers without any valid reason.
Still can behave transparent towards the innocent maplers.
Why must maplers kept on send emails to their customer service, is because it’s really a WRONGFUL BAN.
Really, they can post new post in Facebook but they do not have time to get a real customer service in charge to review and reinvestigate the whole matter.
Some more, their ban list do not include the in game name at all, but got banned with the in game name not included?
Wake up! Customer service officers, where’s your professional service?
Ignore will not solve the innocent players problem.
Be fair to innocent maplers that you banned them. And it’s NOT IGNORING THEM.
So if you want play this game you must think twice before you start the game.

I really wanted to like this game
I've been playing MS since it first came out a decade ago, and I feel that the game has lost many of its community feeling due to too much improvements. It's tough to find any players in the game right from the beginning, making me feel like I'm playing offline. It should always be the tutorial islands and beginnings that create appeal for new players instead of focusing to expand more improvements for people who are already playing. You want to welcome new players as well as keep the old ones. I miss seeing ppl in tutorial islands and beginner towns like henesys. I feel like Nexon should focus on its social aspects more to welcome new and returning players to the game. I tried encouraging my friends to play so I could have friends in the game, they found it cute and fun but boring after awhile because of the same reason that I've stated.

A great game!
It's quite a good game that can be played both manually and auto (for helping to grind!), but will be nicer if we can somehow earn crystals for cash items too, now the only way to get crystals is by spending cash...
Also it will be better if the waiting time for after leaving a guild can be shorter, and maybe the guild options/ recommendations can be 'renewed' or show more guilds available to join... when I'm low leveled and when I'm level 100+, the guilds shown to me are all mostly the same and all Lv.1 guilds...
At least show higher level guilds when our character get higher levels...

Cannot login after update?!!
Being told that I had performed abnormal activities therefore being restricted?!! I created a new character for a couple of days before launch of Aran, reach level 90 in 4 days, only have few hundreds K meso and purple color equipment which I bought from trade station?
When I ask for prove from Maple on what abnormal activities did I done, they just reply restriction had been uplifted without providing other information, after my second communication with them.
I understand that it is a free game, but does that mean Maple can ban people without a valid reason and cause unnecessary frustration to player? Unreasonable and irresponsible team!!!

Wrongly banned, frustrating experience
After creating the new aran character I was suddenly kicked out of the kick the system while doing the quests. I am very upset that after writing a report on customer center as well as on Facebook, I have not received a reply. I have been playing for more than 2 months already and have been abiding by all the rules and yet I was ban due to “history of abnormal gameplay”. This is very frustrating as I was actually looking forward to playing aran and now my friends are ahead of me and are still able to continue with the game but I am not even able to login to my account. I would appreciate a reply as soon as possible regarding this.

Connection issues, unable to enter server etc
This game have been quite fun and theres a lot of nostalgia with the maps. However what’s frustrating is how every so often, theres issues with connecting into a server.
Random issues like “access terminated by remote server or something along those lines” or once theres an issue where the server was “busy” and i cant get into that server.
Other than that things have been quite fun though it gets repetitive after awhile.

DK is pretty much useless
Overall it’s a not too bad game. But class is really important. Started off thinking it might be the same as the pc maple for DK so gave it a try. Sad to see many useless skills in 4th job. Looking at the skill dmg % damage now is a far-fetched as compared to other class. *Sacrifice is the most useless skill for DK* Other jobs overpower DK easily in terms of damage, acc, EVD even HP. DK comes without a proper HB skill that increases HP. Even with 9.5% + 950 EVD, easily die at HZK makes wonder is the EVD really even working? Please rework the skills for DK. revenge of the eye? knockback resistant? come on. It’s a waste of SP. these should have been a passive / something special for DK. 4th job skills should increase attack and the ability to tank
Just my 2cent worth despite most probably the developers will only focus on new jobs. Most probably DK will die out soon.

Freaking expensive game.
Don’t bother to even install if you cant afford crystal this game is getting more and more hungry everything demands crystal initially when i first started off i was hesitant to spent but after playing sometime i feel that its okay to invest some money but when the level gets higher i felt that this is literally getting nowhere. Everything is about money money and money. Everything low rate even their event drop rate is low. when u upgrade jewel the success rate is close to 0.5% zakum helmet despite killing days and night without fail not a chance of getting they just want to make u feel that crystal is everything in the game therefore u spent. Quit this game and invest in a better game maplestory is a game that brings back memories. But ur msm has created nightmare. Time to do something if you wanna maintain ur player this is mobile game not a computer game wake up your idea devs.

Don’t be tricked by the good ratings
Many of the ratings are old and were given due to the nostalgia and freshness of the game. After playing for a while u will realize that there are many issues with the game that the devs are turning a blind eye to.
1) Technical issues are plaguing the game. The server is so unstable that you can’t play the game with a 3G network without disconnecting once. DC during a boss fight even kick you out of the fight which is ridiculous for it burns an insane amount of potion for nothing. Auto battle stopping every now and then during dungeon. Quests disappearing. Joystick is ridiculously clumsy. Battery burns so fast that I spend more time charging than playing. LAGGING in Banquet even though there is no skills at all. The list easily goes on.
2) Game play issues are also another problem which DEVS ARE IGNORING. Firstly , there is only 10 skill slot which is far from sufficient. E.g. A Bishop has Buffs, Support skills, Attack skills which totals to about 15 skills. U can buff by tapping on yourself but that does not work when u have 2 people standing on the same spot as me especially in an expedition. Secondly is the low damaging and high mana costing KoC. I now spent more time farming for potions than playing the game. Trade station is now incumbent and waste a lot of time waiting. The list easily goes on. Try this game yourself to see how bad it is. This game is very difficult for F2P so try at your own risk

Trade station policy change
First of all, I am enjoying this game a lot. Like all the new features on how we play maplestory.
However, latest update changed the way trade station works and this is not acceptable to the player base IMHO.
Firstly, we do not know when our item is sold, thus the 6 hours notification is not helpful unless there is a timer for when we can collect payment.
Secondly, even if an item has been sold, the trading slot is still taken up and we are not able to put up more items to be sold. This is a waste of time and not efficient at all.
Please look into a different method to prevent mesos buyers, not punishing the legit player base.

Good game with potential but failed
Maple is a game filled with nostalgia, and for those who have never experienced it in its early days, maple story m has still serve as a great game. This game has so much potential and while it has definitely served to be a great game for the past few weeks, the recent patches implemented really let most of the player base down. With the release of KoC being so underwhelming, the recent policy changes regarding trade station and the measly compensation for some major screw ups, many players including myself have seen to be drawn away from the game. Why do this nexon? I hope the team behind the game sincerely take the players’ criticisms and work on them instead of working on things that are unnecessary, if not the game will soon meet its end eventually.

CRASHING & CASH SHOP ISSUES
GAME CRASHING ISSUE:
Every 5-10 mins the game crashes.
Although I don’t lose any stats/ items like other players, it’s just really frustrating where the game crash and crash again.
Somehow, once in a while, the game will lag. And I will be kicked out of the game following a second-long black screen and end up on my home-screen. This happens so often it really makes me feel so so frustrated.
CASH SHOP ISSUE:
Whenever I enter the cash shop, the interface lags and gets stuck somewhere. Every time. Also, after a good few seconds of waiting for the cash shop to load, the game crashes again.
Sometimes I don’t even need to wait for the cash shop to load. If I want to exit the game, I can just go to the cash shop and it will automatically crash the game. Wow. Really?
I get that the game takes up huge memory space and needs 1GB+ RAM and that may be why the game crashes, but my phone has at least 10GB space and it isn’t laggy/ crash-y with other applications. So, it’s obvious that MapleSTORY itself is and is the only reason behind the poor user experience.
I hope the creators will fix this issue ASAP to improve user satisfaction! That will gift players with pleasant playing experience and MAPLESTORY will have more players willing to invest and enjoy the game.
[ EDIT: Developer said I require 2GB RAM.
The thing is, I do have at least 2GB. In fact, I have 10GB so...]

I love the game but it keeps getting disconnected
I love this game and I’ve been playing since the first version on the P.C. I keep getting disconnected after logging in. It’s quite a hassle loggin in after a few tries and I get disconnected once I start doing quest or play. Even though you fixed some issues on connections, it is still quite the same. I love this game and hope this could be fixed ASAP. I am from the (Asia1, Sacnia) server. It’s quite annoying to get logged out... the gameplay just disappears and I am back to my phone home screen.. thanks for the reply on the feedback!

Controls for movement are really bad
Given that it is a roleplaying game, control for movements are most important. I cant even jump or walk to places properly. Its such a chore for people who do not wish to use auto quest or auto play. Auto quest and auto play defeats the whole purpose of playing this game in the first place. Its just a battery wasting app tht occupies ur phone usage because u need to keep it open. Cant even let it auto play in the background.
Mesos, weapon, potions, leveling up all has no meaning to it. Potions are so abundant due to quests, high stats weapon are wearable regardless of level, meso come freely. The only way to be better than the rest is to buy high stats weapon tht people trade at high cost. And to get meso easily, people are selling mesos at 50m=usd 1.9
Honestly, this entire mobile version game is a disgrace to the creator. Or even anyone who creates games. Even candy crush have a better allure to its game.

great game
Hi , I’d like to say that this game has been one of the most addictive game I’ve downloaded in awhile . I don’t see anything wrong with auto questing or anything wrong with the trade station and I have to say I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the game but I gave it 4 stars because I think the game can be improved , instead of trading items with mesos maybe players can trade with other items . I feel that this will help players not waste their rare items that they have duplicates of or if they have gotten rare items from dungeons like the immortal pharaoh belt which I’m sure everyone has tons of . Another thing I’d like to suggest is that cosmetic items should be able to be usable for all characters that the player creates instead of bounding an item to one character . Other than that MapleStory M is a very enjoyable game !

Fun to play for casual gamers, but “Pay to Win” in the long run
If you just downloaded this game, you can expect yourself to be fully immersed in the game with tonnes of stuff to do. The content is simply a lot & you will be occupied for one week or so fully.
[For the first week, it’s definitely a 5 stars game]
However once you reach the second week onwards, you will realise that you can’t really progress in the game if you do not make in app purchases, especially the purchase of crystals.
[This is when I feel stucked in the pay to win circle & I feel the game deserve at most 2 stars. Not to mention, the in-app purchases pricing is way too high.]
In this game, you fight stronger and stronger monsters and bosses. To be able to do so, you need to upgrade your weapons and armors into higher and higher tiers as your progress.
BUT at the higher tiers, there is chance for your weapon and armor (which you spent weeks to obtain) to be destroyed during the upgrading process IF YOU DO NOT BUY THE CRYSTALS TO EXCHANGE FOR “PREVENT DESTRUCTION” WARD.
In addition, levelling up becomes painfully slow from level 100 onwards. If you do not spend money buying the auto battle tickets, you are going to spend a lot of time slowly levelling up.
Lastly, the price of the in-app purchases are simply ridiculously high. It’s too expensive! If the in-app purchase items cost <20% of what they are at the moment, I might consider buying them on a regular basis to support the development team.

Amazing MMORPG game ever!
I have been fans for this game since childhood time and it’s pretty nice that I could resumed on playing this game again via the latest upgrade version on my iPad..no longer need to install patcher and all sorts of things like old time using pc..it’s great that the game interface and the characters quite smooth when playing..however wish if there’s more of good promo such as more designs package and perhaps permanent packaging that players like me could enjoy..wish the developer will take care of players’s interesting ideas and thoughts to stay loyal playing this game.

Don’t play, you’ll get banned falsely!!
Yess you read it right. Msm anyhow bans people. Their CS team is incompetent they handle ban issues/complains/inquiries with an automated response which I can already memorise. Talking about us have abnormal gameplay or abusing the market system. When users like myself is innocent we did not break any rule and regulations we will just be randomly banned. Asked to know what’s the real reason why we have gotten banned but they will reply that they have thoroughly investigated the case and will not unban users. I’m confused. Is this how a game that is recently launched in Asia supposed to work? CS team not putting in effort to response ALL USERS WITH BANNING ISSUES, especially those that spend real money into the game.
I’m from Asia 2 Union, a guild master of an established guild and a devoted loyal maple fan. But through this incident of false banning with multiple tickets send to CS team all getting back same automated replies, I had enough. Max capacity
Supported it since day 1 but for the past 4 days i wasnt able to access into the scania server in Asia 2 AT ALL. No matter what time is it, be it 2 am or 6 am. Kept saying max capacity and connection has been terminated by remote host when my friends who tried to get into the serve after me got in. This is ridiculous.

Interesting but something wrong with app
I’m lvl 103 dk. I have spent quite a bit of money and have been complaining about the crashing issues to support team recently. From the reviews and personal experience, IPhone 6 users have been raising the issue on crashing constantly on the reviews. What disturbed me the most is that instead of addressing the issue, I came across one review in which the Developers replied, saying that they have removed iPhone 6 from device compatibility list. This is absurd. Are you trying to say that those ppl using iPhone 6 or older can’t play the game anymore? What about all the time and money invested into the game? I’m using iPhone 6s btw. Stop sending automated replies and pls do sth.
Additionally there is a bug in the drugneer descent whereby if u were to cast drugneer before sacrifice, the subsequent spears will miss . Pls fix

Finally on the phone!
Took long enough for it to finally get to the phone🤔 The auto-play was a pretty good addition but then I was hurt when I realize I can’t do it in elite dungeon😭 Why pamper me then hurt me like that😰 and the manual control especially for the movement is really bad😟 Oh and the game keeps crashing from god knows what😤 Please also allow it to run on background😒 I can’t even go read a message then continue the game😑 you know how annoyingly long it takes to re-login every time I need to read a message or receive a call🤬

This won’t bring back your childhood
If you wish to play this with the mindset that it is the same game you played 10 years ago, drop that idea. They have somehow completely removed all the fun and effort in this game, such that you feel played rather than playing the game.
Auto-quest ensures that all you need to do to advance through the game is press Ok over and over again. Auto-battle feature gives cheap and meaningless satisfaction since you technically didn’t have to work for the gear and levels.
It comes with all the junk features from other games: Daily attendance rewards, Event rewards, Global launch rewards, Quest rewards, achievement rewards etc. It rains freebies on you like you are a hungry ghost thirsting for excessive amounts of potions and items that you have no idea what to do with. Oh btw, you’re automatically given 3 pets to help you collect loot and feed you HP/mana pots along the way. Don’t worry, they spam so many potions you won’t ever finish using them.
The MapleStory we know is long gone. This is merely a shadow of its predecessor.

Auto play ruined it
Was really excited to play this as this game was the game of my childhood. Bunch of us downloaded it but it wasn’t the same anymore and most people just turned the auto play on, they aren’t even there when you talk to them and most of us just whizzed through not actually reading. Felt like that ruined what was my nostalgic game where you choose what quests you wanna complete and work together to complete them, farm rare loots and y’all to random people when you feel bored training stuff like that, not let some auto play function do them for you. Hope you guys will remove it as everything else is great, and it would be such a pity to let that experience be taken away by the auto play button trend.

Love the game but tooo many bugs
I like how the game turned out and I’m not really bothered by the auto-questing. But the thing that really bothers me is how the game keeps crashing. The game crashes every few minutes and it’s really annoying. Please fix this :”) Then there’s the issue with the servers, shouldn't the game developer expect that there’s going to be a lot of players playing? It’s honestly weird that I can’t login into a server just because there’s a lot of players online at that time. Everytime I open my app and start playing the game, the game would crash for less than an hour. It would usually crash when I open the event tab but now, almost everything I do in the game would crash. I can’t even complete a Mission properly without the game crashing on me. Please fix :>

Skill Glitch
This game is honestly taking me back to my childhood days, grinding and earning mesos. Really a great game especially when it’s portable on mobile. One kickback though, my character, class NightLord, has a glitch on it’s skill info. Third job skill “Triple Throw”, isn’t really triple throw at all. Mainly because it’s only dealing 1 line damage to enemies. Please fix on this issue on all Players that are facing the same issue Thanks!!!! My Character is “CaptJaee” on Asia 2 - Scania

Servers
The game good except for some flaws. Firstly, when I exit from auto quest mode I will get teleported to some random place. (not the main issue). Secondly I think that throughout all the servers one should be able to use their heroes no matter what server. Because now every server you enter you need to creat a new character and that’s a bit frustrating when u want to play with friends but the servers do not let you interconnect your characters. Hopefully Nexon can change and make characters able to play in all severs so that I won’t have to restart and level up again

Gameplay is great (although understandably laggy for now). Two suggestions:
1. Make the dpad lower/ customisable
2. Maybe this can’t be helped but with so many servers it’s very common to not be able to play with friends, especially when around the same region (Singapore) there are different recommended servers and beginning players just choose that not knowing data isn’t shared between those sub servers

Bumpy Start but Good Now
Had a bumpy start to the launch, but seems like the servers are good to go now! All those memories of my days in MapleSEA are popping right back with those BGMs. Can't wait to see what the game will have to offer in the future!
The Auto function makes the character look like a robot at times, but is a welcome feature. I've never liked on-screen joysticks, and especially not Maplestory M's. I'd have preferred if the joystick wasn't locked in one place but instead is determined by where your finger touched at that particular moment.

Awesome game but needs some changes
This is a really awesome game! Mostly everything is true to the PC version. I just did not like the auto battle/questing feature and how you have to turn it off manually every time. Maybe have the option to turn if off it settings?
Furthermore, I think that a minimap would really help with the gameplay as we would then know where the next portal is at.
Other than these two issues, the game is pretty much flawless to me.

Disappointed
The game is all good except for 1 problem. The auto quest is annoying! It’s a nice function to have but each time I start a quest it automatically goes to auto quest and when I cancel it, it teleports me to a random place in the map. -_- if you can fix this problem and keep the navigation arrows that appears during auto quest, I would enjoy the game more.
It defeats the purpose of playing a RPG game if I’m on auto all the time because it’s too much hassle when it’s not.

Bug bug bugs everywhere.
Firstly, thank you Nexon for releasing this childhood nostalgic game globally, as i believe thousands of Singaporeans are anxiously awaiting this game to out in our country, but after downloading and logging in to my game and account, playing for less than an hour or so i suddenly lost connection cause i’ve left my house’s wifi and went out but after that it Disconnects and it takes me quite a tediously number of times to open & close the apps to start the game again. Subsequently i have a smooth gameplay i was finally glad it’s just a small thing but after that the worse is, once i activated a Fury Spell(if im not mistaken) i don’t remember what was it called, my screen hanged and went dark but background still got movements and skills sound effect but my character hanged screen suddenly paralysed, i close the apps and open again, this time my whole character i creates was GONE! Lost! Need to recreate and retrain i’ve bought diamonds for exp pack and it’s gone, Nexon please get my character back and my diamonds. I’m from server (Asia 1) IGN: JavierTakeda. Please fix it i’mma big fan of MapleStory and avid player to your PC version. Will do the same if this apps have lesser or nonexistent bugs around.
