Seriously?
I have been using onemap for years. And i hardly ever write any reviews for any app, but this had really gotten onto my nerves. First of all, whenever I type an address, i cannot find it. Had to resort to slowly zooming in to my destination to check for buses etc. secondly, the map takes forever to load, like FOREVER esp when you wanna zoom in. Thirdly, the buses directory crashes the app every time i toggle it. I really would expect something better than this, onemap. Why load something so buggy and then annoy people? 🤷🏻♀️

Promising app but some issues
1. Couldn’t swipe left on the tabs to view. (World Cup, ART Vending Kits, PHPC etc…) 2. Bigger fonts (bold or thicker stroke) would be better, like more legible
3. Map loading time seems really slow when resizing or moving left or right

Is there a bug?
Hi, I love this app as it prevents me from getting lost, but I noted that sometimes when I change the location, the app does not update and displays weird instructions on how to get to the new location. I had to click the location one or two times to ensure it updates/refreshes. Hope you can look into this as it reduces the credibility when using this app.
If there could be indicative walking time too for transfers, it would be great. Currently it just indicates the transfer walking distance.
It would also be great if the app has functions showing the nearby banks, schools, sports stadium, bus stops and MRT and also indicate the distance in ascending order so that I can click on the nearest one and know how to walk there.
If there could be some information on the first and last bus/train, it would be nice too. Currently, it seems that it doesn’t show all available transport routes if the transport means has ended for the day. Eg, I might be checking at home my next day journey but due to the late hour, some routes do not appear?

IOS 16.1 cannot use
The app can open , and I had set location always allow. But I unable to search for landmark and set the shortest route. It’s just not responding hence no result. Web browser can only search for landmark but very laggy

Bus schedule at bus stops caused APP to crash
Honestly I liked the APP very much as it has a lot of useful information. However, the live bus schedule at the bus stops caused the APP to crash when I select the individual bus route.

It has been a month
It has been a month and the app is not functioning but there is also no updates to fix this. It’s irritating as it will log users out every 5 min. Please get it checked as this has cause inconvenience to users.

Can’t even get past the intro page
Just downloaded and scrolled past the intro page and the get started button doesn’t work, it’s stuck at the intro. Rendering the whole app useless

Very basic map.
I think as a local government based app. They should think of ways to improve the usability of the map. Still many many years to be used on par with the Google map. Maybe try to incorporate those routes or navigation experience as seen on Google or here map.
Too dependent on Google map is a bad thing if one day they decided that maps r to be charged.

Good interface for Singapore usage
Am a parent trying to carry out P1 registration for my daughter in 2022. The school query function is very useful and it is via exploring the app that i realised that there are a lot of other query functions that’s available. For example, dengue cluster near my house and even, where i cannot fly a drone. Good app!

Compared to Google, One Map geolocation API is way accurate. Used it for personal project and have to give the team applause for their hard work.

has potential to be better than google maps for singaporeans
what can be improved on in future updates:
- ability to mark favourite bus stops/locations. can use singpass to login for these data to be recorded
- a legend for unspecified icons (like the ones on the bottom right hand corner).
- fix lag issues while navigating around the map
otherwise, it’s a very compact map and detailed map for singaporeans. :^)

Far from good
The only good thing of this map is that you can see the actual size / shape of each building. You cannot zoom in too much which is a bad point for me. Need to improve significantly if it want to get market share from google or Apple.

Able to go to specific location but when move the map or zoom out, only the specific location is clear but the rest is blur.

Room for Improvement
Some feedback. Firstly, it would be great if user could "mark" the favorite location in the map. Then the favorite location will be shown in the map in different colours or shapes (star, love, etc). If you have this function, then it’s not obvious.
Secondly, It would be much greatful if we can mark favorite bus stop and bus number. The favorite buses will be marked with "star" sign and show on top of the list.
Thirdly, I am facing difficulty when search the property transaction price. Eg, after search block 258, I am unable to "click" and see the transaction price for the block near by (block 257 or 259, etc). Repeatedly press and press on another block, nothing happen. Appreciate if the management can clear the bug. Thanks

Great app for navigating Singapore
This app is really useful since it provides an estimate based on the journey. Furthermore the map provides routes that are local to Singapore and can’t be found in other applications. This makes a big difference in how I plan my journey.
The interface is also pretty responsive and runs smoothly.
Overall, a recommended product for navigating around Singapore.

A map app that gives wrong directions !
Tried to use the app to plot a cycling route to west coast park but it pointed me to Sengkang park instead. It cannot fulfill its most fundamental function required of a map app even though the app has been released for more than a year. Needless to say, this is miles away from being the “authoritative national map of Singapore” SLA hopes it to be. Hope this is not a testimony to how our efficient our civil service is, I am sorely disappointed.

I'm trying to use the latest release of One Map. I'm trying to map the route to Tan Tock Seng hospital - it keeps telling me is unable to find the route!
Update: I have since removed this application, as it had become unreliable/unusable; have returned to using Google Maps instead.

Errors found in app
I tried to use the app today because I believe that the information provided by SLA is up to date as compared to similar apps.
However, it was disappointing.
I searched for directions between Changi Airport Station and Bukit Panjang Station but no results were yielded until I changed the former to Changi Airport Terminal 2. This is quite confusing. I hope there will be more flexibility in terms of the directions because not everyone knows where is the nearest public transport from a given location.
In addition, when the bus stop icons were tapped, no information was provided. Searching for nearby services and amenities did not work too. Please look into a way to resolve this issue.
I also suggest implementing an offline mode like Google Maps because it will be more convenient to navigate around this country without having to worry about having Internet access.
This app looks promising but its development is limited with so many problems that come up when users use it.

Public transport routing not optimised
Please improve on the basic routing logic so that we get a decent route and then provide advanced options such as shortest travel time, least transfers, least walking, least cost, etc.

Been using to find blocks number and location, so far so good. But it doesn't support Gboard therefore very inconvenient to use it. Pls make it Google keyboard friendly, thank you very much...!

Too many cut off text makes a lot of info missing
Gave the app another go and this time it is giving good results from journey planner, but the UI has a lot of cropped text, from the date/time selector, to the journey time in the route, etc. This means what app developers wants to show is either missing or not needed.

Hi, pls work on the distance to school feature urgently. The old pocket one map is not working anymore and there is no alternative to this. In my opinion , you should keep the old pocket one map working whilst improvisation on the new one map is taking place .

Further Improvements Reuire
Example:
On Google map commuters can take public transports from Queenstown MRT station to Alexandra hospital. Whereas One Map Singapore shows no public transports - walk 26 min to Hospital.
One Map shows if from Koven MRT station to Alexandra Hospital One map guides commuters take north east line to Harbour Front station then change public buses (approx. 1 hour). But the faster time should be taking north east line, change to east west line to queenstown mrt station then public buses (approx. 51 min).

Fonts too small
this app has not been useful at all as words and numbers are too small to read. Basically, it is designed to use by youngster and in office only. Not practical to use in the open for navigating.
