Still the best for me
I've tried other note-taking apps and in the end I come back to Notion. This just feels like home. I really enjoy the community here as well :)

Improvement on recording function
Love love love this app it’s so cool, with the most productive features ever!! But would help if the recordings could continue even if we exited the notion app, so we wouldn’t have to go back to the app and resume the recording.

Great note taking app
For those who love writing in markdown and organising your data. Apart from that not comparable to alternatives.
Notion AI only works with local files and may randomly remove content on your pages.
Great for freelancers who like working alone and sharing some items with vendors. Not great for teams bigger than 10 peeps.

Potential
I started using notion via templates but it was so confusing to me. I properly learnt notion a year after and it has organized my coding notes alot more better. This app has the potential to expand bigger like make it more UI friendly for mobile users in creating a new page. Would be bomb if you could make the page be able to write using a stylus or draw on it!

Not able to adjust the font size
Font size is the big problem for this app. Everything look super huge on mobile. And everything become one column.....

Difficult to use, not intuitive
Difficult to use. I can't find buttons to delete workspaces i accidentally created, the AI instructions are useless, unable to organise grouped pages by drag and drop, and unclear how to create your own templates. Just feels like a very random app that can supposedly do it all. I can only understand the To do list, so that is all i'm using at the moment. A very frustrating learning curve. App works fine, no lag or anything, just poor UX.

Inconvenient and buggy compared to web version
Moving a task to trash from my todo list is so inconvenient compared to the web version where I can select multiple tasks and just tap the delete icon. It also has a bug where it does not allow me to adjust the task deadline time from 12am to anything else, and does not allow me to edit the task names sometimes

Suddenly crush and missing
I was typing note in Burmese language the letters jumping up and down when I type in . Sometime I typed in correctly but system auto made it wrong. I have to repeate the correction and worse case is, system crush and the note that I put in journal is missing

Issue with Stage manager
There seems to be an issue when I use notion while in stage manager as sometimes it does not respond to my keyboard when using my mouse or the keyboard itself. There is also a glitch or sometimes a delay when I click on something (e.g. the undo or redo buttons) with the mouse. There is also a random jump from where i am writing to somehwere else in the page when i did not press or touch anything for it to go there. {On a completely unrelated side note, can you also add a drawing with apple pencil feature like on goodnotes 6 or apple notes}

Stop trying to charge me
I’ve already indicated a change of subscription plan for the free one, but Notion keeps trying to charge me. What makes this even distressing is that they asked me to update my credit card. For what? So that you can charge me even though I’ve not been using it? This does not make sense! Infuriating.

Transition animations PLEASE
Really aesthetic app but the motion is so reduced. Like when I want to open a page from the gallery, there is NO transition motions and the whole thing feels laggy and cheap as a result

Super buggy, be careful when you share a space
I shared a space with my company, after I tried to unshare it, it was very difficult. I tried to delete that account from the company computer (which was under a seperate email)
The next time I went back to my own computer, my whole workspace including my AI subscription
Was gone.
My whole workspace was reset.
No one could tell me why this was happening
And somehow my company email had gain access and ownership to my account.
Loved using the app, was thinking of having it on my company system, but this really threw me off.
Make sure you guys have a backup of everything if it’s important details.

Please fix this issue
I love the app and all its fun to use but my biggest issue is the bookmark image preview not showing after a period of time no matter what link I use. Embed image then change to bookmark, nice the preview image is finally there, and when I check later on, it’s blank. 😀 I’m a bit of a perfectionist and this is causing me to rip my hair out. I inspected the image and it just shows “data:image/gif;base64” followed with random characters in CAP. I’m pretty sure it might be something I’m doing. But even so can you list how to fix whatever issue this is because why have a preview image as an option if it isn’t gonna work in the 1st place? I really like this app but I’m probably gonna find one similar to this to do my stuff.

The app is good, payment process is very bad
I have tried to pay to upgrade using 3 credit cards, mine and others’, and it doesn’t come through. The cards never have any problem with any payment before. The stripe page is constantly “processing”. What is worse is that, notion constantly reminds me that I will lose access. Notion, please seriously check with your payment process and partners. This doesn’t only happen to myself.

DIVINE ORGANIZATIONAL TOOL
it’s so detailed, the formatting options itself goes one step above syntax markdown with options that crazy elaborate (variety et veteran) plus the actual link to sub pages makes everything so much easier on mobile . templates provided added on to the community’s collaborative templates where there are tens of thousands on different subjects eg . media lists or school etc etc is amazing because you can either get a great idea or combine several great ideas + specific subjects and so on .
also enjoyed the way you can have multiple accounts themed differently , makes organisation easier .
with ADHD i hyperfixate a lot so this makes everything so much easier by easing the incessant need i get with it to log everything abt that particular thing down with as much info as possible (if not i literally can’t move on)

After a long time use in iPad. The app main page lay out will change even it is lock. And the side menus will auto hide when edit. An the markdowns input will not be recognized at the same time. For example you can’t input /q to toggle and quote input.

UI is still a lil awkward
Love using notion but when it comes to smaller tools such as duplicating tables and items inside of it, it becomes a battle of figuring out where the button is at, to which I’ve failed to find even after a long while.
It makes the notion experience on the mobile tank and makes it hard to do work with it on the go.

Bug with iPad’s magic keyboard
Honestly, I really love the notion app.
However, as of a month ago, I had been having issues with My Magic keyboard on just the notion app alone. I can’t seem to type anything and whenever I click on my screen, the typing cursor just disappears and I am unable to type.
Really hoping that this gets fixed as I have temporarily moved on to other applications for my note taking needs.

Bug issue with iPad's Magic Keyboard
I am just wondering is it just me or everybody else who uses British Magic Keyboard 2021 version faces the same problem as me. In the app notion itself, I was trying to edit my Notion Template, but it seems to be rejecting whenever I try to click on the screen, like I will get into typing mode for a second and the next moment, the flicking "typing mode" disappears. Something like this "flickering |" --> " ". And the most part, when I try to access the shortcut key using / to add blocks to my pages, the same thing happens. It is almost as if it was instantaneously, rejecting the typing mode. However, I have no issue with that when I use other apps nor when I remove my magic keyboard, to use the iPad's inbuilt keyboard. Initially, I thought my magic keyboard was the problem, but it doesn't seem to occur to other application that I uses.
Would kindly hope if the Notion's team would quickly resolve this issue as I am working on a project that requires to do template, but since, this happens, I am not allowed to work anywhere where I want besides my office workstation...

I love this app, it has changed the way i organise my life
this app has everything i want - easy organisation, easy building of pages and helped me clear my head space, and the many aesthetic options!
i’ve used it to keep track of my university life (deadlines, notes) and personal life (life goals, hobbies, journaling) and it’s the ONE productivity app i can’t live without.
the interface on mobile is laggy sometimes though so i hope they’ll improve it pleasee

Not a bad alternative to apple’s productivity system
What would be a all-in-one solution to the whole apple prodcutivity system is pathetically ruined by a basic feature of using sounds for notifications.
Yet, still an amazing app with motivated developers and a friendly admin behind the twitter account, who lends an ear to suggestions from the notion community.

Non intuitive on iPad
I’m not sure if it’s just unfamiliarity, but even basic functions are quite annoyingly complicated on the iPad interface.
I cannot seem to add multiple tags, and even resizing images is something I cannot figure out - the official guide says to hover but how does tht translate to a touchscreen? Holding it merely highlights the image.
Just seems like a lot of distractions and obstacles in my note taking

Still lacking desktop features and some inconsistencies
1. Unable to adjust font size, for smaller iPads, the font is just too big. Currently using an 11inch iPad, and I’d just like the font to be smaller so I can see more in a single view. I use multi column pages, and due to this, it just doesn’t work 2. Swiping from left to right, I wish it was for opening the side bar, instead of going back. Right now its randomly doing both 3. Unable to add to database rows without opening a new page. Currently using database rows for managing tasks, this is a pain. Having capabilities to create a new row from a keyboard shortcut, either adding to bottom or insert below current row 4. Unable to open more than one window for multitasking. Ability to have 2 notion windows side by side. 5. Unable to copy and paste cells, want to do this for relations, dates, selects etc
Nice to haves: 1. More advance SQL like querying of databases and rollups. For example I have a project table that has a relation to a meetings table. I’d like to query a summary of the latest meeting to display in a cell in the project. Right now the rollup shows the summary of all the meetings

Buggy
One of the more preferable apps to take notes on and study, especially with their “toggle list” feature. However it’s prone to crashes on mobile, the computer version is vastly superior. For instance, changing highlights or adding the aforementioned feature requires a landscape orientation, which crashes the app.

Great app! Impressive features and (mostly) clean UI
I find it great it for note taking.
Pros:
- Super minimal, love that it’s not as messy as One-Note.
- Does what I dreamed Apple Notes app would do (clean UI + windows desktop app + Mac app + near real-time syncing across to mobile. A HUGE ++++).
- Have I said clean UI?
Bonus:
- even has formulas!
- seem super ambitious with boards etc.
Cons:
- The ‘file navigation area’ in the left side panel seems biased towards sharing data, rather than note taking (new objects generated at the bottom, rather than the top of the list). This leads to needing to scroll to the bottom to find new objects, which is a pain if you happen generate lots of notes, highly frequently, and want to look for things recently done without having to constantly reorganise data

Is it possible to make the IPad version more similar to the Mac version? The dragging of blocks are really convenient on Mac but no so much on my iPad.

It’s super easy to use and the vibes of the app is so aesthetic. My grades have improved ever since I started using this app as I had more motivation to take down digital notes. I really recommend you using this app, it is soooooooooooooooooooo good. 😌✨✌️

Widget Enhancement

App hangs and crashes
The app constantly hangs, which leads to having to restart it multiple times while using. Now app can’t even open, hangs at the start up page with the “N” logo on it, tried restarting the app several times and it doesn’t work anymore.

Can’t even open the app at all
I’ve been trying to open the app for the past few days but it doesn’t even work at all. The screen just freezes, I’ve tried force exiting and opening the app again but it doesn’t work, just freezes at the “N” logo page

Lost all my notes with the recent update
Previously I was using Notion for all my note taking as it has some pretty good functions for organisation. I did not sign in to any of my Google accounts etc as I was not prompted to and did not know such a thing exists on Notion. Fast forward to a few days ago, I went into Notion only to find all my notes lost!!
