Return and refund process

It does not support return like Taobao. There are many occasions of defective goods from merchants, I didn’t get a refund as merchants demand return of the damaged goods but I need to ship it back to China? Ridiculous.

Too much caches !!

I reformat my phone, and reinstall the app, when clear the caches, surprised that I have cleared near to 320mb of caches !! Every after an hour, there will be more than 200mb of caches returning back automatically. There is a lot. Since I use my google account to sync to this app, I went to delete the link from my google account to this app. And I log out this account and delete the app from phone before reinstall. Afterwards, I cleared the caches of approx 180 mb caches. After 1 hour later, less than 0.8 mb of caches is cleared.

卖家已经发货，商品也顺利到达仓库。我随后选择了国际集运，平台注明选择发货后预计 7–10 天送达。然而，包裹在超过 10 个工作日（共 16 天）后，依然没有从中国发出。

这些商品并非敏感或受限制物品。系统的更新，不能真实显示包裹的运输进度。

我多次联系客服，但得到的大多是模板式、重复性的回复，不断要求我耐心等待，却没有正面回应我关于未收到货物及物流的问题。

客服给出的处理方案只是退货。然而，即使问题并非由我造成，客服仍拒绝退还运费、新加坡税费以及平台服务费。同时，在未收到包裹的情况下，他们也拒绝延长确认收货期限，允许系统自动确认收货流程。

*没收到商品，千万不要允许自动确认收货！我才发现评论一堆的没包裹，没能得到退款的反馈。

Extremely unpleasant experience with “customer support”

Extremely frustrating customer service experience. I encountered a payment error and tried explaining multiple times that my card was not charged and the order remained in ‘Awaiting Payment’ status. The system repeatedly sent irrelevant template responses and kept misunderstanding the issue. It was nearly impossible to reach actual support. Customer service should be improved so users can receive proper assistance instead of being stuck in endless automated replies.

It's a scam!

According to the tracking information, the items were shipped, but I never received them. I reached out to their customer service multiple times requesting help or a refund, but they refused to refund my money and offered no solution. They just replied they cant do anything. Checked with the Singapore courier company with the tracking number and was told that they did not receive anything from China's side.

This has been a very disappointing experience. I do not recommend buying anything from this app. If you value your money and customer service, look elsewhere.

the only selling point is that it is cheap. but, there are many hidden cost after placing the order. you need to pay for their internal freight, then international shipping, GST. i dunno how many times i need to log in to making additional payments. and more than 1 week after I made an order, the item hasn’t event left china. it looks cheap, but it’s because they decoupled all other costs to get the product to you. after all the ++, perhaps better just getting it through a local marketplace. and you don’t need to deal with the chinese language, no decency at all provide the most basic translations.

update: no customer service. my shipment is missing and i have no recourse. the app states its delivered, nothing was delivered. seller claims its shipped. the platform has a customer service function that’s an AI bot, no help.

Slow international shipping, and poor customer refund policy 国际运输满，不支持买家退款

this platform supports seller, so if u get any damaged good. You can’t claim any sort of refund from them. Seller will never refund, and PDD customer service will not support your claim. Even when it’s a genuine problem! I have had 5-10 parcels items damaged, and all they say is that OH they can’t support a refund. Like I am suppose to accept a damaged broken item? Also international shipping is slow, takes 12-15 days to leave China (seriously?), and then another 15-20days to reach your country. It literally takes like 2 months to reach you.

Also not all thing are cheaper than TB, and way more scams here than TB. So use with caution.

The merchandise on the Pinduoduo platform is generally cheaper than on Taobao, but there are a few things to consider:

Long shipping times – Orders can take anywhere from 1 to 1.5 months to arrive.

Product discrepancies – Items may not always match what’s shown in the listing, which can be frustrating after such a long wait.

Seller attitude – Some sellers can be quite rude or dismissive. It might just be my personal experience, but I’ve encountered it more than once.

Limited support – If you need assistance, it can be difficult to get help. Unlike Taobao, Pinduoduo doesn’t seem to offer much in the way of buyer support options.

Tech compatibility issues – Be cautious with electronic or tech products. Some items may not work properly in Singapore, especially those that require pairing with a region-specific app.

Return and refund challenges – The process can be painful and slow. I purchased a Mi Band 10 that couldn’t connect (at the time, it wasn’t yet available in Singapore). The seller agreed to a return, but the parcel has been stuck at China customs since 22 August. Customs requires the seller to make a simple phone call for declaration, which they refused to do—saying it was not their job. Despite this, the seller wouldn't cancel my return/refund request and insisted I wait for the system's automated refund timeline (about 6 days). Meanwhile, I couldn’t escalate the case to Pinduoduo because it was still “within the return/refund window.”

To the Pinduoduo team, if you're reading this, I would sincerely appreciate it if someone could reach out and understand the issue I’m facing.

All in all, I personally prefer Taobao over Pinduoduo.

If you have received a damaged item, the possibility of getting refund is not so simple. Seller will insisted you to send back. Imagine u r from over how much is the delivery fee. Delivery is horrible
