The best app for Chinese
I used this app a few years ago when I was living in China. In my experience it’s the best app if you want to learn to speak Chinese the way native Chinese actually speak.
I’ve recently downloaded the app again to brush up my Chinese a bit and I see how much they have improved the app in the last couple of years! Way to go Hello Chinese!

Highly recommend

One of the best self learning platform
I started using this app for almost 2 months now and found this very innovative and easy to learn Chinese . The courses are designed in a way to memorize words easily and also help to build vocabulary gradually over time . Example videos , audio are real life examples. Excercise are designed based on difficulty levels and help us to track the progress effectively and then based on outcome it suggest the focus areas to practice more

hellochinese saved my life
Was an uneducated chinese person back then. Always fail my chinese subject, unable to speak a proper chinese and worst, can’t even understand. Was very disappointed and worried about myself with my poor chinese foundation. Went to look for any apps/books that teach chinese and happen came across with this app which caught my attention. decided to give it a try and from there, really learn alot. the app is very interactive, interesting and learning very very fast. thank you for changing my life :)! this app deserve more than a 5 stars.

Great Mandarin App for multiple modalities
Best Chinese App around. I lived in China for many years pre smart phone. Let’s just say it would have been a lot easier and my mandarin acquisition was MUCH faster since using this app. I do believe my pronunciation has drastically improved due to the speaking portion of this app. Big thank you! Like all the other reviewers have said, this is secretly the best app out there. Way better than the big names like Duolingo and Rosetta Stone. Their theory sections are especially well written (and funny enough to keep you awake!)

I use it everyday on the train to work and it's not only better than duolingo but probably the best tree-based learning app I've ever used. Let me pay y'all for premium or something (need more hooks to payment). Also if the company goes under, happy to hire anyone behind the app

Chinese made easy to learn
This app makes it easier to understand the tones of Mandarin Chinese there by helping us pronounce the words easily. Understand that Chinese is basically a tonal language it depends a lot on tones and sounds. Once we get the four tones of Mandarin right the rest will be easy sailing.

Best app ever to learn Chinese
Thanks a lot for making this superb app! I have been trying several app and Hello Chinese is the best as it is fun and requires our active participation. It is like duolingo for Chinese but Hello Chinese is even better as it gives theories as well. I also like the feature for training us to write Chinese character. With this app I become confident that someday I can write Chinese characters :).

Learning Chinese becomes enjoyable
